I switch from 1st to 3rd all the time...
I remember after one of my all-nighter Wolfenstien sessions (which have becoming rarer and rarer since school), and I had a WW2-esque dream after I was done. It was a night scene with two soldiers (I actually think they were 2 of my friends in drab) and I attempting to evade a demon (think "Jeepers Creepers") and make it to "home base," which happened to be a pick-up truck.
I distinctly remember running through abandoned water ducts and climbing up a long ladder in first person. The view changed to third once I was at the top and through the latch. My "teammates" and I met up at a bridge, ran across, and were killed.
We "respawned" in a video game kind of way, back in first person. This process repeated several times, until I finally got pissed off and woke up.
I love dreams like that. And I love parentheses. I love it good.
