Bleck, that lats chapter was sort of nasty, as you see, I do not want to write anything too mature, or yucky for my audience, so I left the chapter at that. sorry for the late replies!
Chapter8: The Rogue Revolution
Karma woke up back in her pen. Her head was spinning and everything was swirling in a cyclone of confusion. She waited until her eyes focused and feebily attempted to stand up. Her legs trembled and she colapsed into a drunken heap on the concrete ground. She had not known how long she had been asleep. The sky was farely dark though, indicating she must have been out for a while. She staggered wobbily to her paws and shook off. She stared up at the moon, it's cold gray surface reflecting off her bright green glare. As she gazed hypnotized into the moon as if it were a campfire in the middle of a woods, she tried to remember what happened. She scratched up as much memory as she could and dug through the files of her mind like a cabinet. All she remembered was that horrible Rottweiler snarling and growling and barking and then..... oh no. She hadn't. She couldn'tve. Did she? As she watched her shattered memories flick through her mind like an old film, she remembered the horrible black and brown dog pinning her to the ground. But it must have been true. How else would she have ended up here like this? But.... that would mean she would be having puppies. Oh no, oh no indeed. She did not like this at all. She didn't want to have puppies, she didn't want to be a mother. She had no idea how except for the few instincts her heritage had given her. Karma lay back down on the cold cement and howled. Her head was swirling with a tornado of thoughts. What will happen to me? What will happen to my pups? Will the humans do this to me again? She howled and whined some more until she had woken up Sasha, who had been sleeping in the pen next to her. "Whats the matter tootse? Did you have a bad dream or something?" She yawned and stretched while she shook off her beautiful white fur. "Sasha, something terrible happened." She said, her voice trembling. "Food Man took me inside the building today and..." She burst into tears. She could not bear to relive that horrible moment. Sasha was taken aback by what she had said, almost as if she knew what happened to her. Maybe she did. "Oh sweety, I'm so sorry. I was going to tell you around when you were two but I guess they started you early this year..." Sasha went up to the edge of the fence and stuck her nose through the links to comfort her. "I'm so sorry honey, I should have told you." Karma sniffed and looked at Sasha, her eyes brimming with tears. "So thats what you did in the building. Thats why you wouldn't tell me what happened in there. You were trying to protect me from the truth..." She burst into tears again and howled. "This is all my fault. I shouldn't have kept the truth from you. This is all my big stupid mistake." Sasha lowered her head in sorrow, a look of upmost sorrowness in her deep blue eyes. "It's not your fault Sasha, there was nothing you could do. You were just trying to protect me." She sniffed and wiped her fur with her paw. "But we have to do somehting about this. We an't just stand by and let the humans do this to us." She looked around the other enclosures to find several other wolves and dogs her age, either looking very shaken or howling the same way she was. She couldn't just sit and wait while the humans did this to them. She had to do something. Her eyes flared with determination as she barked to all the wolves and dogs in their half of the yard. "Allright, listen to me! We obviously all know now what goes on inside that building, we can't just stand by and let them do this to us! We have to fight back! Now who's with me?!" The yard was filled with silence. dumbstruck looks on each and everyone of them. Not even the crickets were chirping. Karma lowered her head in defeat and knew she had to accept her fate the humans had made for her. She turned away back to Sasha, but then a voice cried out among the silence. "Karma's right! We can't stand by and let them do this to us!" Karma turned around to see everyone looking at a rust red wolf with a rebelious look on her face. She knew those muddy yellow, flairng eyes anywhere. Berzerk. "What these humans have done is cheated us from our life in the wild! They have fooled us into thinking they were our friends, by giving us food and water, and then they turned on us did this. Are we going to give them the satisfaction of knowing they won?! Are going to let them treat us like this?! I say we go with Karma's plan and blow this place! Leave this all behind and start our own pack in the wild! We are creatures with a cause, and we need to make it happen!" There was a cheer from the crowd and a look from Berzerk that seemed to say, "I'm always there for you bud". It was the first time she had ever seen Berzerk smile. Karma beamed at Berzerk with thanks and started hatching up a plan. They would leave in 8 weeks, after they were sure that none of them were going to have pups. The last thing they needed was a good plan foiled because of puppies. Once they were sure of that, they all prepared themselves for the big day. The excitment was almost unbearable. The next day Karma woke up to Food Man walking passed Sasha's cage and stick his nightstick through the chain link fence and yell at her. Food Man. He's the one who did this. She remembered watching in horror at his glee when he unleashed the Rottweiler on her. How he laughed and pointed when the dog charged into her and knocked her against the wall. This was all his fault. He wanted this to happen. It was all his fault.... Karma charged full blast at him, but was stopped by the chain link fence. She growled and snapped menacingly as he laughed and teased her through the fence. She saw him gte out his circle of tinkling keys, and open Sasha's door. She cowered in front of him and allowed him ot put the evil silver choking collar on her. He lead her out and into the building. Karma was not going to let him do to Sasha what he did to her. Out of sheer determination, or insanity from rage, she stuck her paws in between the links in the fence and climbed up it. She leapt off at the top and bolted for Food Man. Food Man saw her and ran for the door. He fiddled with his keys nervously, Karma still charging madly at him. He finaly found the small copper key, shoved it in the door, and opened it. Just as he was closing it, Karma stuck her snout in between the crack, keeping it form closing properly. She pushed with all her might, Food Man grunting and trying with all the strength he had to close the door, and Sasha looking at her through the opening in the door, a fearful look hidden behind the muzzle Food Man had placed on her. Finaly, another man came with a long stick. A stick, heh, it would take more than that to have her let him take her friend. The man jabbed her with the stick, and she suddenly felt the searing hot pain of 1000 volts of electricity surge through her body. She flew backwards, her fur singed, and the door slammed shut with Sasha on the other end of it. Karma growled and scratched at the door al she could, but it would not budge. She ran down the side of the building, looking through the window at Food Man forcing Sasha into a room. The room at the end of the corridor. No one who went in that room came back out alive. On the door was a red sign with a skull and cross bones with an electric bolt through it. Everyone called it the 'deep fryer'. Karma scratched at the window with all her might. She jumped on top of a nearby crate of food, broke the window, and jumped in. The broken glass left a deep, dark red cut on her shoulder blade, but she didn't care. They had allredy put Sasha in the 'deep fryer' and who knows what they were going to do to her. Karma jumped up and pulled the lever on the door that the Food Man pushed to open it. She charged inside, just in time to see Sasha with a strange metal dish on her head, Food Man pull a lever, and Sasha yelp as the helmet sent electric waves through her body. She shook a bit, then went limp. The smell of burnt hair wafting through the air. Karma jumped up and licked Sasha's face. She didn't move. She sniffed her and licked again while she whined. Sasha still lay limp and lifeless, the tips of her beached white fur singed black. No, she couldn't be dead. That was impossible. Sasha? Her best friend in the world? Dead? She howled and whimpered as the impact of it hit her. Sasha was dead....... and it was all Food Man's fault........ Karma charged at him, teeth bared, snarling like a wild demon. This time she had him cornered. The door was closed and this time there wasn't any man with a shocking stick. Just Her, him, and Sasha's lifeless body lying on the table. She was going to make him suffer for all he did, and she was going to make sure he was going to feel it.... She rammed into him as hard as she could, knocking his fat rubbery body over, hearing his scream in terror emit from his fat buldgy mouth which uncountable cheeseburgers were probably stuffed into. She sank her her teeth into his cheek, shaking her head around until his flesh became ripped and torn to bits. The taste of blood, meat, and fat curdling in her mouth, she leapt onto his chest and started gnawing on his arm. He tried to get up and shake her off but barely managed to drag her. He cried in pain an agony as Karma tore out a chunk of his arm, turned around, pinned him on his back, and sunk her teeth into the back of his neck. She could feel the tendons and muscles snapping under all the bubbling fat. She wanted hm to suffer for all he had done to her and all the other wolves and dogs that had ever been here. He wanted him to feel their pain, every single one of theirs over the accumulative years. Food Man grabbed at her and tried to swat her feebly with his uninjured arm, only suceeeding in having her bite straight through his pudgy, ham like hands. He screamed as she shook and tore them to shreds. She let go and gnawed on a chunk for a while, as he started to crawl for the door. She abandoned the meat blob, and went back for her target. Food Man was shaking horribly, totaly drenched in blood, as he crawled on all fours to the door. His hand was reaching for the knob when Karma pounced onto him, flipped him over, and went straight for his throat. He half screamed, half gurgled as she ripped out his throat and voice box, and started digging into the gaping hole with her claws. Food Man gurgled and shook violently, spat out blood, then lay silent. Karma spat out his voice box and stared at what she had done. Her steely, enraged glare transixed into his still open, unblinking brown eyes. This guy was sure to win a staring contest any day from now on. Karma dug into his face again and shook his head around a bit more, then returned to Sasha. She was still lying on the table, still as an inanimate object, lifeless and cold. She nuzzled her and licked her cheek, then opened to door and went back through the broken window, leaving bloody paw prints on the shiny steel floor. She climbed back into her pen as she had earlier, and sat there licking her bloodstained fur. Everyone stared at her in awe as she licked the chunks of Food Man out of her teeth. everyone knew what had happend in there. They heard it all. Some looked absolutely horrified. Some looked dumbstruck. Some actually grinned evily, Berzerk being on of them. Karma turned to the crowd staring at her and stopped licking herself for a moment. "We leave tonight at midnight. We won't have to worry about Food Man catching us either now." Karma said in an icy tone of voice. "But how are we going to get out of our cages? Not all of us can climb the fences like you can." Said a small dog over in the corner. "You think I forgot about that?" Karma lifted her tail to show Food Man's ring of keys dangling from it. "Like I said, we leave at midnight tonight, any questions?" The crowd didn't say a word. "Right, let's do this thing..."
