I'm into quotes that are either slightly insightful and/or funny. Not just something someone said once for a laugh! I quite liked "Why quote other people..." and in the nature of it decided not to add it to my archive.
==========

Beekeeper by Little Palace:

So here I am
The hero comes
Conjures up a breeze to dissipate the smoke
That keeps the bees sleeping
How beautiful they are
As they suddenly awake
Wide eyes open
At the scent of something new
They gather ‘round
And sting to death
A friend
They never knew.

To control is to be controlled.
Here we go again

Me:
What if they hadn’t stopped Hitler?

Terry Pratchett:
‘Give a man a fire and he’s warm for a day, but set fire to a man and he’s warm the rest of his life.’

Simpsons:
“The pain was like a drug to me. But what was even more like a drug was the drugs.”

“I never heard the word ‘embiggens’ before I moved to Springfield” “I don’t see why not; it’s a perfectly cromulent word.”

Scott Adams (Dogbert):
“Science has proven that the part of the brain responsible for conscious thought doesn’t show any stimulation until after you act. That means you never make conscious decisions; all you do is rationalize what you’ve already done after the fact. Your life is nothing but a series of absurd rationalizations for the random interaction of chemicals in your brain.”
