Alcar, this is sort of the forum members giving you their first warning. I'm not taking sides here, if Grig deserved to be banned temporarily according to the rules that is fine. But you are the mod/admin and part of your job is to look past the rules and do what is best for the community. Which apparently in this case was to take it easy on Grig.

What upset people so much is that it appeared Alcar took pleasure in banning Grig and was
looking for reasons to get him in trouble. I see it like this. Grig spammed. It was annoying, but no reason for banning. If Alcar was forced to ban Grig, he didn't have to ban him so long. I also think that Alcar isn't a bad guy and I haven't had any trouble with him. I think it would be stupid to overthrow Alcar for this. Ta-Da!
