splinter cell... such a mistake.
it has to be one of the bets games around, but i have noticed a very large mistake in the game...
Sam has the FN herstal F2000 as a weapon in most of the game. Now, for a secret agent, who is based for stealth operations, he would want to get in and get the job done quickly, without being seen. The F2000 is too much for a single agent to carry on such missions. He has a simple Five-seveN (FN herstal 5.7) hand gun. This is modular, meaning it can be fitted with all sorts of equipment. Being a 5.7mm hand gun, its rounds can go through 47 layers of kevlar, and since he is only sent into missions where he is not likely to face a tank, that should do just fine. All the F2000 really does is slow him down with unconditional weight. If in the event that he needs some more firepower, then he would be in a firefight where stealth isnt an issue, meaning he could simply just take an AK-47 from an enemy. It fires 5.56 rounds just like the F2000, and ammo wouldnt be an issuse, since most hostiles would have more ammo on them. I know the gun looks cool, but it is flawed, It was entered in a next-gen future military weapons convention, but is no where near the likes of the USA's OICW XM-29 or the Frenchs PAPOP. So this weapon wasnt even designed for stealth operations!
So my conclusion is that an agent like Sam would never need such a weapon. A silenced HP pistol would be just fine.
