I am a non-denominational Christian. I think most of you would call me Fundamentalist.
And non-demonitional is not a "hodgepodge". In fact, it is the original church that all the others are based off of. And often it is very judgemental, which is sadly evident in myself.
How many of you agree with me when I say there can only be one true religion or belief (evolution and all that is a belief too)? It doens't make sense that everyone is right. I grew up in the Church and have studied the Bible alot. Since the US is such a diverse place, I know about other beliefs. I don't know everything, but what I do know tells me that Christianity is the truth. But that doesn't mean I agree with all "christian" views. I try to be openminded, but the Church of Christ I have been raised in just makes so much more since than any other belief I have studied that I sometimes don't really listen to other peoples opinions. This means I am a very stubborn person, but I hope that if someone can prove to me I am wrong that they will take the time and consideration to do so. But that won't happen, I'm sure of it. But then again there is always room to grow.
A note to non-Christians. Please don't judge the religion by its members, including me. Find out for yourself whether or not it makes as much sense to you as it does me.
To evolutionists. Having studied evolution intensely at school and at church I can tell you this. There is no scientific PROOF that it ever happened. Only theory and interpretation of the facts. Don't just believe what scienctists tell you because there is a lot more information that they leave out. Study it for yourself, from a creationist stand point. You may or may not change your view, but at least you will understand both views.
