Regarding capital punishment, no, I disagree with it. Completely. If some maniac has got a factory full of hostage and a pretty impressive array of explosives at his finger tip, then obviously there's one solution that shines above the rest, but with all these murderers and whatnot, if they've caught the buggers, they should try reformation instead of jumping to retribution.
Corporal punishment, yeah, sure. Parents should be allowed to discipline their children physically, so long as they don't go over the top, which is just common sense. I personally think corporal punishment should be reintroduced into the Law, such as they used to have: mostly whipping wrists and similar no-damage-yes-pain deterrence methods. If the bastards try to sue for damages, take away their house and see if they like being homeless, cheeky gits.
