My first non-oddworld fic, its about a war, in the year 2011, a virus was created, and these creatures break free, and well this species is created with supreme intellegence, and they make their own gun and the war begins.

It was sunny, scalding but peacful day in the countryside, or was it....Zeph awoke inside the trench of a dark cold day, which smelt of rotting corpses. "They're coming! Get down!" The huge bomb missed Zeph and Gerard, killing 3 other unlucky soldiers.
The lieutennet looked nervoulsy over the top with the periscope, "Machine gunner! Get those sonsa b*tches mowed down!" He armed the M-60 and fired, cutting down the creatures defences, they all seemed to go down at once. Then the entire human forces came, eliminating any dying creatures. The men came together. The captain and lieutennet laid down the plan. "OK, the left side is heavily defended, so we need a few snipers in there, Jackson and Zeph, you two will be the first to enter, the third platoon will attack this vulnerable party, the 564 Party will be fighting upwind, we'll join them, except for Company X, there duty is done, head to the bunker in the LRU, Move out!" The words cramped in Zeph's head, "C'mon, we only gots one chance."
