What do you mean by following the bible blindly? What about Muslims? WOuld they follow the Qu'ran blindly? What about buddist? Is by them reaching enlightment, are they doing it blindly? Would evolution be a blindly method too because it doesn't make sense for a guy from the 1800's understand the concepts of the beginning of life when he wasn't there? How do we know if he's wrong? Technology in the 1800's wasn't that great when the people believe that everything evolved around the Earth.
