Welcome to the Fourth Concept.

Good evening users.

I am the Fourth Concept. Here is a datacard for all those who wish to know more.

Age: Unspec.
Sex: Male.
Location: Unspec.
Gaming Interests: Freelancer, Diablo II classic & LoD, Warcraft III and I am an ex-Starcraft elite.
Knowlege: Wide, but primarily focused on Science, Engineering, Quantum Physics, Computing, Hacking & Fashion.
Hobbies: Most of the above, with the exception of Engineering and Quantum Physics, which I do not and cannot execute in my "Garden Shed" as it were.

Now that you know all that you need to about me, this discussion can begin with my side.

Here is my opinion: Your forum is a happytown; its general purpose seeks to enforce positive opinion, or only allow the expression of it. Negative opinions are shunned here.
Your very posting here is governed by a "don't like it, don't do it" attitude that confuses me a great deal. If a user logs on to your forum, insiting it change, I would suggest (***Suggestion***) that you politely remind him/her that the way it is currently has kept it going so far, rather than publicly shaming them for expressing their opinion, whether light heartedly or not.

A freind on the phone likened it to this example: "You can talk about how great something is there; but hey, if you've got something important to say, you just keep it to yourself son."

Just to give myself some defense, I am not actually suggesting you change anything other than attitude here. And more importantly I am not telling you to change anything. What I am doing however, is highlighting a problem that I might find "impedes" on my enjoyment and free expression of opinion, whether negative or positive now and/or later.

Also, another defensive, (and a side note) I would just like to add that I raised this topic because I feel that this is genuinely a problem here. (IE This particular fault/complaint/observation occurs in the majority of topics.)

I hope this contributes as a valid discussion here, I would hate for my first topic to "go wrong" per sè.

Regards, 4ourth Concept.
