That's not entirely true, Xavier. Fleeches as we've seen them were created by the Vykkers, but Fleeches are natural creatures too. The Vykkers needed something to work off of. We don't know what they look/looked (they might all be wiped out) like, but we know they didn't have their long tongues. My guess is that they looked like their early concept designs, which would be quite a sweet tribute to the hard work of the OWI design team.
Answering the Slig Hunter's questions, it may be entirely possible that there were Mudokon tribes that paid special homage to the Fuzzles, but any evidence of their existence just hasn't been come across by our heroes. You could ask Alf, but expect one of his 'witty' replies.
The Meeches were wiped out shortly before Abe's Oddysee. At this time there are hardly any spiritual Mudokons. Look at those in MO, they've obviously been corrupted by industrialists. That's one of the reasons why Big Face is too busy to help Abe, because his is fully booked at Monsaic Lines getting the Mudokons to appreciate their spiritual sides. On top of that, the Mudokons nowadays are largely unaware of their past, especially their dark history. I imagine it's entirely possible that not even the Big Face knows that some Mudokons once worshipped Meeches.
