Part 6
*Setting: The clock ticked gently, the face showing the exact time. 3am. The DNA Analysis room was practicly dark, the back of the room was the only part that actually had light coming from it. The faint blue, floresant lights hummed gently. Allowing one Researcher to see what he was doing. It was Calahan. He was bent over, peering into a microscope and checking some blood. His blood. The past couple of days were becoming increasingly fraught for him, at least five times a day he would think about the incident, something which always brought grave fear to him. He knew that the chances of not contracting the disease were next to impossible, but he had to make sure he had contracted it...had to be certain. As he peered into the lense and focused the image he found his answer. He was now an AIDS victim. The tell tale white coating that resembled that of a minute bit of thread was linking itself to everybit of his bloodcells. But something else caught his eye, latched onto his bloodcells were small specs of grey. Raising his hands he tweaked the knobs of the microscope, zooming in and then focusing. He uttered a short gasp, staggering backwards and into a row of cupboards behind him. The small grey specs were nanobots. The very kind that the test subjects had flowing through them. Questions rushed through his head, beads of sweat began to run down his forehead. The disease was the least of his worries now, he now had bits of metal floating around his body...doing unknown things, possibly even damaging his organs. His left hand shook with nervousness. Shaking his head from side to side sharply he attempted to throw the sweat beads off. He then approached the lense once more and peered in. This time the burden lifted. Although the nanobots were attached to his bloodcells, they weren't active. This seemingly meant that he was safe, unless they were dorment. Then they could activate at any time. His body was, after all, mature enough. Carefully he reached for the glass slide, grasped it with his thumb and index finger and walked over to the sink. Were he then disposed of it down the waste disposal unit built into the plug hole. The cracking of the glass seemed louder than what it was, but he didn't care. Quickly he flicked on both hot and cold taps and allowed the water to wash down the plug hole, hopefully erasing any signs of his analysis. He then headed towards the door, content with knowing that he had to be careful for the rest of his life. Knowing that he would now have to fake any health examinations he took part in. Knowing the chances of having children were now dashed. Flicking off the backroom lights he then exited and headed down the hallway.*

*Setting: Cornesh stood in a dark corner of one of the corridors. Watching one of the staff dormitory doors impatiently. He had been waiting for three hours for this specific person to return and, strangely, he hadn't.
*Footsteps*
Cornesh turned his head, looking down the corridor he had previously had his back to. The shadow of an Orkhid came down the corridor and then he did. Calahan. He looked nervous and kept looking behind him as if worrying if someone was following him, but as he neared the shadows which were created through a falty light he was grabbed by the coller and hurled into them. A squeak erupted from the Researcher as his back hit the concrete wall.*
Calahan: "Wha...!? I wasn't doing anything!! I was checking data...i swear!!"
The feeling of his windpipe being crushed by a lone thumb was enough to shut him up and stop his panic-laden ramblings.
Cornesh: "You tried to rape her..."
Confused by the sudden acqusation, he began pushing and kicking out at his attacker, attempting to break free. But the strength of the being was too strong, scarily too strong.
Calahan: "Who...are...you??"
He gasped for breath inbetween each word. Trying not to sputter or show fear.
Cornesh: "A 14 year old girl...and you, you tried to rape her. You piece of sh*t..."
Calahan felt the attacker back off of him abit, but then doubled over in pain as Cornesh punched him in the stomach. The Researcher dropped to his knees and began to splutter violently. He was then hoisted to his feet again by his hair and once more pinned to the wall.
Cornesh: "You strapped her down and attempted to violate her..."
Another punch to the gut made his legs give way, but he was grabbed and hoisted up before he had time to fall.
Cornesh: "And when she defended herself you blamed it on her, got her put in that...that cesspit!!"
Thrown to the ground, the victim winced in pain. Cornesh was in a seething rage, which hadn't gotten better over the three hours he had waited. Placing his hands on the wall Cornesh then kicked the winded Orkhid three times, all of his attacks centered around the stomach or chest. So that no visible marks would cause concern or alarm. When he had finished his violent and horrific attack on the Researcher he then crouched down and reached into his white jacket with his right hand. He then brought out a small syringe with a rubber defender that sat on the needle head, so that it wasn't accidently injected into anyone. Reaching for the defender he gently pulled it off and held it in his left hand as he squeezed the plunger of the syringe with his right thumb. The fluid inside was black and spurted out onto the Researchers black trousers.
Cornesh: "This is her blood. Ridden with the virus that you all try so hard to avoid. All i have to do is give you one quick prick, inform Janek and your as good as dead..."
Raising his head Calahan looked at the needle and coughed panic-stricken.
Calahan: "Please...d-dont!! I-I didn't want...to. He told us...to do it!!"
Cornesh looked at Calahan and snarled, trying to figure out if he was lying or telling the truth...
Cornesh: "Who told you what?"
Calahan: "I-I cant say...he said he'd ki..."
As he spoke Cornesh leant in, moving the needle closer to Calahans leg.
Calahan: "Janek!! Janek...told Feeder and i to harm the...the defects...make them suic...suicidal. By whatever means necessary!!"
His Heart seemed to double in its beating rhythm as he stood up and pondered what the Researcher was saying. Placing the rubber defender back on the needle he quickly reached down and pulled Calahan up. Once again slamming him into the wall.
Cornesh: "What else? What else do you know...??"
Shaking his head from side to side his lower lip began to tremble.
Calahan: "H-He'll kill me if...if he finds out..."
Although his breath was slowly being regained his speech was still broken, this time due to his sobs.
Cornesh: "He wont find out, now, tell me...or i'll do worse than kill you."
He slowly nodded, tears running down his cheeks.
Calahan: "H-He said...that...that the ones that dont...he'll kill...starting with...O4..."
Cornesh let go of him and backed off, his expression full of concern and panic.
Cornesh: "But...But the other personel said he was keeping her alive...at least 'til the final stage..."
Calahan: "Well...he's not. H-He stated that, that Cornesh guy pissed him off. And now...he's gonna piss him off."
A lump formed in Cornesh' throat, his legs began to wobble wearily. Dizzyness took ahold and the corridor seemingly began to spin...
Cornesh: "W-When is...he doing this? And how?"
Slowly Calahan began to shift along the wall and away from Cornesh, in an effort to make a break for it. But doing so enraged the distraught Orkhid, who then lunged at him and pushed all his weight against him, and being a rather chubby creature, that was alot.
Cornesh: "Tell...me."
His voice seemed dark. Darker than usual. And although Calahan was oblivious to who this being was, he was slowly starting to think that it was Cornesh...the fact that the being was enraged so quickly by the notion of the death of O4, who was Aisha, was a large clue. As was the weight.
Calahan: "Sometime this week...I-I dunno exactly. And there's a...a...machine in the room...towards the back. It displays the vitals of each subject. That kills them...with one...push of a button..."
The weight of the Orkhid lifted and quickly the being marched down the hallway, heading towards the holding cells...
(OOC: Well...? Yay or nay?)
