Chapter 21 Across the Waistland!
Kluna, Zin and their newfound friend were moveing across what was once the Great Prarie Lands of the Alpha. Now it was nothing more than just a waistland. Volcanos dotted the landscape in its hellish devestation. Soon our heroes made it to the edge of the very forest where they found Blunk and Wheely. Only now the forest is nothing more than a burnt one. Something came to Zin as the approached the edge.
"This place looks famiure!"
"Zin don't you remember this place?" said Kluna.
Zin stoped and remembered the past as if he was reliveing it. The smells the look everything was as once was to him. But he was alone as he approached the camp. He saw himself sleeping and yelling in fear. And thus he remembered that this was where he had his first dream. Suddenly a cloaked figure Zin saw standing over his other self sleeping. It was like a ghost of blackness. Zin approached the figure and asked.
"Who are you?"
The figure turned to him "I am what I am!" As the figure pointed to the stars. "And you are what you are! Save us!"
Suddenly he came to himself again and realised something.
"Zin what is it?" asked Kluna.
"Oh Kluna the figure is close to your friend Zin. I can tell." said Bleak.
"What are you talking about Bleak?" asked Kluna.
"The Dark Spirit hunts him in his dreams. The face he sees, the voices are all part of the Dark Spirit. And its controling him."
"How do you know this Bleak?"
"I have seen it before. Your friend is destined for something I do not understand."
"Zin, are you alright?"
"I am not sure Kluna, I...I must fulfill something. I am beginning to understand my destany Kluna."
"Whats your destany Zin? I thought you fullfilled it by destroying Clorn."
"Thats not it Kluna. I don't understand it but I have been called for help."
"Help from Who?"
"I don't know. But I think it has to do with the Argalyth and we will find out."
"I sure hope so Zin, I am scared like I have never been before. Something has changed you and you seem to be someone different every now and then. I just wish you can explan this to me Zin."
Zin touched Kluna's sholder and smiled. "Kluna you will understand when the time is right but we must figure this out and all I can do is find Osmikea. She will help us.
"Ah yes Osmikea The Misty One. Then we shall go to the Great Lake and speak with her!" said Bleak. And thus our heroes headed for the lake in hopes of figureing this mystery out.
