Conflicting plans...

*Setting: The sky was dark and the wind howled restlessly. Sheltered inside the abandoned Hotel the Shadowcrawlers awaited their briefing from the leader, the old lights flickering overhead. They were all centered around the Lobby, some sat, some stood. They were restless. Wanting action. Wanting to fight against the organisation they were formed to fight against. The sound of wheels upon marbel flooring could be heard from the back of the room and as they turned to look in that direction they saw him, he was being wheeled into the Lobby by Lilias. A chequered quilt was draped over his stumps. Stopping, she turned him to face the crowd in which he addressed...*

Shadowcrawler superior: "It is time. Time we made our move and sweep D-11's legs from underneathe it!! We shall be victorious, even if our past plans were faultered..."

He spoke triumphantly, detemindly. It was as if he was going into battle himself. The Shadowcrawlers smirked to themselves, nodding in agreeance. Their tails sweeping the ground, gently wagging. Lilias stood silently behind the wheelchair, watching the eager Soldiers get more and more motivated.

Shadowcrawler superior: "Tonight we ambush them!! I've arranged for the Agency to dispatch a group of their employee's at the crash site of the recently downed Airship. That is when we'll attack...Lilias."

He tilted his head upwards, glancing at her briefly before looking at the group again. She then took center stage as she stepped around from the back of the wheelchair.

Lilias: "Thankyou. Yes, as they search for Computer Hard drives and Data information we will attack. We shall kill a quater but kidnap the remaining group...we will need them alive and able to speak if we are to interrogate them. Remember that."

There was mumbling throughout the ranks. Only few 'crawlers had weapons as the rest were consumed in flames and buried under rubble back at the warehouse. Thus they were nervous about capturing live, highly trained Assassins...

Lilias: "Dont worry. You'll be equipped with Machete's and Swords as you leave. They're not much...but with the extent of your training, i'm sure you'll put them to good use. Now...GO!!"

*Setting: Cracking his knuckles Kowloon groaned. He was dispatching five of his best Assassins and three Trainee's to go out and recover material from the downed Airship. The five included Quade, Kai, Ella, Kei and Marl. The three Trainee's were Silian, a strong, male Sauk. Asandé, a Mudokon female with the power of telekenesis and Andoel, a young Saurian male. They were all stood in his compact office. There facial expressions showing no concern and their stature, proud and strong. The three Trainee's were situated behind the five Assassins, awaiting to be spoken to by the leader. Kowloon adjusted his red tie and coughed slightly before he addressed them.*

Kowloon: "You five were picked because you are the best. Dont fail me. We have four competing races wanting parts of that ship and i want to be able to please each of them without them knowing about one another..."

They all nodded gently and proudly. Proud to be asked to be involved in such a mission. Reaching under his desk he then produced five brown envelopes.

Kowloon: "Each envelope has a different objective. Complete them. DO NOT involve yourself in each anothers missions, that could jeopardise the entire operation. Stick to your own...one of these missions calls for a team effort. Quade. Ella. You two are partners for this mission..."

There was a slight groan from Ella, as she secretly wished she could have been paired with her lover, Kei. But still. It was probably for the best that she wasn't. Standing slowly Kowloon ushered the Assassins to a side so that he could speak to the Trainee's.

Kowloon: "You three have been chosen to go on this field excercise because i think it will be good for you. It will show you the true meaning about being a D-11 operative and how, sometimes, killing the beings who stand on neutral ground is best...Becareful out there. Do not, under any circumstances, allow yourselves to be captured. If you do, these five have the authority to shoot you...to kill you."

His eyes flicked from one Trainee to another.

Silian: "Why dont you just put us on an easy mission first? Why this hardass one??"

He spoke with a disrespect for authority and with a hint of bitterness. Kowloon merely smirked though.

Kowloon: "Because you three are progressing the fastest...I want to make sure your capable of handling the fire, heh. Each of you will pair up with one of the Assassins and listen to everything they have to say. Obey their orders and don't leave their sides. Understood?"

There was a nodding as the three looked to either side of the room. Pondering which Assassin to team up with. Silian didn't take long to decide and quickly stood next to Quade. The Saurian rolled back his shoulders and slowly headed towards the door, closely followed by Ella and the Sauk. The Telekenetic female was seemingly forced to join Marl as he clasped her shoulder and brought her towards him. Smiling. He then led her towards the door, leaving the young Saurian to pick Kei or Kai. He quickly opted for the Assassin of his race and stood near Kai. Then they followed the others out of the office, headed towards the armory to suit up and infiltrate the secured zone surrounding the crashed Labs...
