Merit: *stops when he hears something strange move quickly through the brush nearby* ....easy boy...*pats the now growling Jaws* ....Woah! Help!
Before he can do anything further, Merit is knocked unconsiouss & surrounded by a group of mudokons. Jaws tries to protect Merit, but ends up trapped in a net (and getting his jaws tied shut--so he wont bite of coarse).

Jeteal: *Still shivering & crying as it starts to rain* ...*remembers being abandoned*.. (why did they leave me?...Its all my fault..) *lets out a rather noisy sob*
*Nearby slig looks over his shoulder at her*
Slig: Shadap already!
Jet: *falls silent* ...gulp.. *shivers as cold rain starts to drip down her small body*
Slig: Stupid kid... *rolls his eyes & goes back to whatever he was doing*

Nomad: *wakes up* ...ugh..I dun feel so good.. *sits up & takes another drink from the stream* sigh...Thats better! *gets up & starts walking toward the village again--humming cheerfully to himself*
