Man, slow down! I haven't got to many more chapters cause my computer went and lost them (I should be gettin a floppy disc with the rest soon.) I'm gonna shut down for the summer holidays to get more done but for now I'll give you chapter 10 and then boost the amount of posts between chapters to 3.

Chapter 10

Splat
I blinked and sat up. I was lying on a cold table surrounded by large, pointy, metal… things!
Suddenly I felt like someone was standing next to me. I spun my head round to look. No one there! I got off the table, turned round and caught sight of a reflection in the crome metal wall. A monster! In the room with me! At first I thought it was a mutated scrab, but then I noticed it had paramite features as well! And mudokon hands and arms, and a mudokon ponytail!
I hadn’t moved. Neither had the… thing! I tried to convince myself that it hadn’t seen me yet. But the thought that it was just waiting to pounce kept pushing its way in to my head.
Why hadn’t it moved yet? I thought for a minute. It was obviously too far to slap. Or kick. Kick? Of cause I couldn’t kick it! Where did that come from? I started to turn round, slowly, to see the… thing properly. Then, in the corner of my eye, I saw the reflection move.
Instincts took over and I lifted off. Lifted off? I suddenly got a sinking feeling I my gut!
I turned to face the metal wall. The creature reflected was also floating in the air. I flew to the wall. So did it.
“Worked it out then?” I spun round to see a big-bro-slig. “Like the new look? Hope so, cause you’ll be havin it for the rest of your life!”
It was this creature who did this to me! I screamed in rage and shot towards it. He put his arm up to shield his face. I ripped it off in my jaws, and flew to the other side of the room, where I let it slip down my throat!
The b-b-slig also screamed with rage and got out a chain gun, which he aimed at me! I shot in to another dive and aimed for his face! As he was holding his gun in his remaining hand, he couldn’t shield himself and I hit his face, yanked out an eyeball with my scrab jaws, and flew away again. I swallowed the eye and slowed to turn! I suddenly heard a crack in my wing and before I felt the pain I was plummeting towards the ground! Falling towards a very hard-looking machine! My last thought before hitting: This has got to be bad for my digestion!

I shot up and almost fell out of the cradle of branches I had been sleeping in.
I remembered that moment perfectly. I hadn’t even felt the pain of my broken wing before I was unconscious. When I woke up I was in an iron barred cell. I heard a slig screaming from far off.
But now I took in my surroundings. It was daylight. I was in the branches of a leafy tree.
I climbed up the branches and looked out. Behind me was a huge, metal wall, stretching up for miles. The side of the factory. In front was another tree and behind that was a large chunk of rock, jutting out from the ground. There was actually a log bridge connecting the 2 trees!
I flew down the tree, on to the bridge, and walked across it, into the next tree, where I froze. A laguateeny was sleeping in the branches!
A lguateeny is small and round, like a ball, about 12 centimetres by 12. This is like the head, but there is no body and the limbs come straight of the ball. They have three sharp spikes on the top of its body head and poking out from the bottom of the body are 2 tiny flippers with no legs. They also have 2 very skinny arms that -with small flaps of skin hanging off to double up as wings. They have 10 tiny eyes, arranged in a pyramid shape, 4 at the bottom and 1 at the top. There is no mouth you can see but they seem to suck food in through their foreheads.
I sneaked past and looked at the chunk of rock in front of me. There was a hole in the wall of stone and I looked in.
Just in side was a ghost trap. Behind that a couple of fleeches hung from the ceiling with their tongues. Behind that was a spirit door with 1 lock.
I climbed down the tree and looked for a way into the rock. I couldn’t see one so I tried tapping and pushing the rock, looking for a secret entrance.
After searching for about an hour, I sat down to think. I backed up a bit and sat on a rotting tree stump. As I did, a thick layer of cobwebs gave way of the top, causing my butt to dip into a deep hole, going down, through the stump, into a hole in the ground.
I got up, brushed the spiders off my butt, and examined the hole, and, after discovering that it was a well, jumped inside.
I emerged inside a small room, where all the walls where made of rock. There was a tiny hole in the roof, which I just managed to squeeze through, and entered the room above. This one had a small hole in the wall, which I’d looked through an hour earlier.
I crept past the fleeches and up to the ghost trap. I made up the plan in my head: I would hit the trap and then duck up and down in the hole till the door opened and I could escape the fleeches.
Even as my arm flew forward, I realised what I’d forgotten. My arm hit the trap and I heard the laguateeny squawk as it woke up. I peered through the 14cm circle hole and at the laguateeny, which had lifted off the branch and was know aimed directly at my face!
