Part 7

*Setting: Mrs Eal rested the back of her hand on her daughters forehead and sighed. Calen was burning up and still hadn't recovered from her most recent blackout which had lasted for 47 minutes. They were becoming more and more worrying now, and another point of worry was that the other children were even saying that she had started talking to herself. The village was quiet, the children had been hurried inside so not to make too much noise and disturb the Eals. Mr Eal stepped up behind his wife and wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. He whispered reassuring words into her ear and then kiss her shoulder. Her head bowed down and a lone tear escaped from her left eye. She was so worried that it was something serious, like a Cancer or a Brain Tumour. And if Calen did pass on, they knew that part of them would be gone forever...*

Mr Eal: "We're going to have to do something about this, we cant just hope for the best and pray they pass with time."

He slowly stepped upto the window and looked out, he rested his hands on the windowsil and brooded over what he had in mind.

Mrs Eal: "Dont you think i know that? But what if its too late? What if she has no chance in recovering? What if we lose her?"

She kneeled down and picked up the hand of Calen and held it, resting her cheek against it and sniffling. Her husband turned and nodded.

Mr Eal: "I know, Celise. I know. But we must try, we cant just leave it for Fate to decide. You of all people must know that with what happened with your brother..."

Her head snapped upwards and her eyes dripped with tears. Tears of sadness and, now, anger.

Mrs Eal: "Dont you dare bring Noah into this...Not now, Armon. Not now."

She slowly raised to her feet and wiped away the tears with her hands. She then looked at her husband, his lower lip was trembling and it was clear he was upset by all of this. She stepped forwards, her left hand stroked the side of his face.

Mrs Eal: "Im sorry i snapped, its just...it still hurts. What do you suggest we do?"

He closed his eyes as her hand caressed his face and sighed as he responded.

Mr Eal: "We go to the Shaman, we do all that we can to bring Calen through this..."

Mrs Eal: "And what if...if he cant do anything?"

He turned to the window once more and looked up to the cloudless blue sky.

Mr Eal: "We go back to the city and get her Industrial treatment..."

There was a stunned silence from his wife, but he ignored it. The latter suggestion would hopefully be void and the Shaman would be able to help Calen and whatever it was hindering her. Thats what they prayed for anyway...

(OOC: Just incase you didnt see the change, i have changed chapter 6 to the newest one you see now. As the previous one moved the story along too quickly.)
