All these months of pondering, and it's as unfreaky and un-ugly as that?

I'm pleased that I finally know what maskless Sligs look like (and congrats to Xavier for finding it!), but in a way I'm disappointed. I wanted them to look so very exotic, otherworldly and alien. And that's it.
With hindsight, I'd have preferred not to know. I'd rather it stayed as a dark and mysterious secret.
