I have a PS2 and an X-Box. I waited a long time for those systems because of MO and just the systems itself so I put together a small budget of money aside for those systems at least a year and a half before they came out because I knew they were going to be rather expensive. But I didnt care because I had all the money I needed specifically for those systems when they came out because I saved all the money I needed. My point is if you know that there will be something big or awesome that you want and you know it will be expensive when it does come out, then set aside a little budget like I did and you won't mind when it comes time to go pick it up from the stores because you put aside the money for it. You know? I like to start budgeting for things I want a year in advance because when it comes time I won't need to worry about loseing all my money.
Its a perfect plan in manageing your money. This is how I do it. I made myself 3 accounts at my bank where one of them is only for paying car insurance, the other is my checking account which is for mainly gas or spending money, and the last one is only for saveing for really expensive things and not touching it what so ever. And only useing that money for these game systems and things. This way my insurance doesnt get in my way and my gas money doesnt get in my way. So when it comes time to buy the really expensive things I have no problem in buying it because I saved for it all this time by putting 25 here and ten there for the last year. Now I know some of you don't even have a job or a car because your young but it doesnt matter you could start early with the money you do recieve and make three accounts or split it three ways. Have one part go to your expenses and the other for fun things and as the years go by you will be surprise on how much you have in three accounts. I say split your money three ways and your invinsiable in the spending part of it. I pretty much came up with sort of circulation of money with me. portions go in and portions go out. It is the best way to manage your cash and not complain about expenses. In this case X-Box and PS2.
