Chapter 9 Disturbing Facts

In that instant when Blunk died in the hands of Zin, he let him loose into the waters in which he came from. As he got himself up Zin looked at Kluna wipeing his face from his tears and the dirt that was on his face. For Zin had a different look of his face. A face of a true hero and a face of a destany not yet known to him. Kluna was proud of this for his friend. For the whole year and a half they lived on Salis the Lost Continent. A Continent purged into war of races that were so unexpected to Kluna and Zin even now they can't understand it. Befriending races that would otherwise inslave them on Mudos and being enamies to their own kind still amazed them. Meanwhile among the devastation of the burning city Lazlo and Chun were also trying to find surviveors until they found Kluna and Zin. Both of them ran to each other being thankful they were alive. But the unexpected happened.


"Kluna Zin your alive!" said Lazlo and Chun.

"I can't balieve you two are alive!" said Kluna. "Unfortunately we lost Blunk."

Zin approached them with a silent look on his face.

"Zin Blunk will alweys be with you."

"Its not Blunk, I am concerned about Silak and Kleek. Whats happened here?" asked Zin.

"We were under attack by the Dark Muds. Trilas's army is greater than we can imagine. They came in and took the Alpha Gluks and Alpha sligs captive."

"But how?" asked Kluna.

"They had with them stronger weapons controled by these ruthless bounty hunters that traveled in these powerful vehicals called sand sails.We were taken by surprise as their army out numbered us. We were weak aganst the forces of Trilas."

"Did they want the Relec?" said Zin.

"Strangly enough they dident. It was as if they were after something else that I fear I might know what it could be." explaned Chun.

"What is it" asked Kluna and Zin

"A map leading to the Lands of the Zileans" replied Chun and Lazlo.

"Zilean? Who are they?"

"A race who cares not of Oddworld and looks to the stars for their answers. It is balieved they hold the very thing that Trilas has been looking for."

"What is that?" asked Zin.

"It something we call the "ARGALYTH!" Just then a sudden silence came over them all. and a slight gust of wind blew past them that haunted all of them.

"The Argalyth? fascinateing what is it?"

"We don't know. It could be a liveing thing but we do know it has unspeakable power!" a haunting stare came over Lazlo and Chun as if they knew something Kluna and Zin dident.

"Have you seen it?"

"No, but those who have can describe it as a 12 foot black rectangular object of peer energy."

Zin turned to Kluna. "That could explan the sludge."

"Zin." as Chun stared at him with a disturbing look on his face as if he saw a ghost. "It killed many!"

Kluna and Zin were trying to understand that rather frightening phrase from Chun. For Chun and Lazlo seemed to know something in certain ways unknown to Kluna and Zin. For this kind of nature frighten them indeed. For they never seen such a look upon their friends faces.
