Battle Mode
If this rule is accepted, then it will be possible to kill other characters in combat. Don't reject it right now, read on!

COMBAT RULES
When you fight another creature, you enter battle mode. You start with an easy 14x8 grid.
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
Then, you fill in the enemies and people. Let us say that our fighter is... Keero-Keero (One of FireFrog's Characters) and that he is fighting... 3 Wild Paramites! The characters and enemies are represented by easy abbreviation.
-------------------------
-------------------------
------------WP---------
----WP---------WP----
-------------------------
----------KK------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
Now, you fill in trees, rocks, rivers... all the inanimate objects!
-------T-T-T-T-----R---
------T-T-T-T-T-T-T----
------------WP---------
----WP---------WP----
-------------------------
--T-T-T--KK--------T-T
-----T-----------R------
--R-R---------T-T-T-T-
Now you have a battle map, congradulations!
Next step is to get some steps... Based off of Shadestorm's Character Form, we can get some stats. These not may be true, but it will work for this example.
Keero-Keero
Max Health: 20
Max Energy: 15
Maybe someday, we'll have more stats. Fighting Abilities, Combat Moves and such, but now all we have are Weapons and Items...
Now, I invent something new. Natural Damage! This is the damage without a weapon. Some low-damage creatures are given extra energy to make up for their weakness.
Gluckons
0 - 2 Damage
+11 Energy
Big Bros
7 - 13 Damage
-7 Energy
Vykkers
1 - 2 Damage
+9 Energy
Sligs
3 - 7 Damage
+3 Energy
Interns
2 - 8 Damage
+3 Energy
Mudokons
4 - 6 Damage
+3 Energy
Gabbits

Elums
5 - 11 Damage
-3 Energy
Scrabs

-6 Energy
Paramites
3 - 11 Damage
-1 Energy
Meeches
4 - 13 Damage
-4 Energy
Meeps

Sloggies

Ratz

+13 Energy
Fuzzles

OK! Each character, pet, owner, or otherwise, gets 5 Action Points. In battle, you can use up Action Points in different ways.
Move - Costs one point, moves you up or down one row or two dashes to the left or right.
Attack - Matters what weapons you use, but if it is a natural weapon, then each attack takes 3 Action Points.
Cast Spell or Use Ability - 5 Action Points
Defend - Defends from any melee attack, cuts 50% of the damage off. Uses the rest of Action Points.
Here is our battle!
***
Keero-Keero moves up two. -2 Action Points
Keero-Keero attacks the WP in front of him. -3 Action Points
Defend
***
That is his move. The owner of the RPG will do the other characters. The Battle Master, as he call him, must be fair. It must not be a difficult battle, but not too easy. Act... Logical.
***
Wild Paramite attacks KK 2 times. -6 Action Points
Wild Paramite moves 2 times right and attacks KK and then Defends. -6 Action Points
Wild Paramite moves 2 times to the left and attacks KK, then defends. -6 Action Points

Ok... now we need to do some Math. Lets say the Wild Paramites have these stats...
Health Max: 15
Energy Max: 4
3 - 11 Damage
Keero-Keero has attacked, so, he roll a dice or number wheel, I have a number wheel right here. 1 out of 10. 1 is 3 and 8 is 11, if I get a 9 or 10 I spin again.
I get a 1, so Keero Keero does 3 Damage to the first Paramite. However, we need to learn something about accuracy.
***Accuracy***
This is the chance to hit. With your fists or natural weapon, you have a 70% chance to hit! Its out of a 100, so I can use a 10-numbered spinning wheel to determine if they hit!
The number must be as much or more than that percent rounded up. I rolled a 7, which is within 70% chance. Keero-Keero hits!
***Back to the Battle***
Keero-Keero does 3 damage!
Wild Paramite
Health: 12
Energy: 3
You'll notice that the Energy was taken away also, not from a spell, but because the Wild Paramite was attacked. Every time someone is attacked, they lose 50% of the Damage done to then, rounded down. 3 * 50% is 1.3, rounded down is 1.
When someone loses all of their Energy, they lose 2 extra damage per attack done to them.
Wild Paramite Attack
They deal: 3... 11... and 10... for a grand total of 24 damage. Each one hit within their accuracy! So what happens to Keero-Keero?
Keero-Keero's Health is 20... so 20 - 24 = -4... Keero-Keero has died.
Now that you know how Battle Works without weapons, it brings me to the next fact, Death and Ressurection.
***Death and Ressurection***
Keero-Keero has gone to the great beyond, but it's ok! Say Krezz comes along and finds his body. You must find a Ressurection Shrine, the ones that are in Oddworld, and bring him back with Spooce. How much spooce? Here is the formula.
(Max Health + Max Energy)*0.8 rounded to the nearest 5 or 0.
Keero-Keero's Ressurection Price = 20 Energy
So, Krezz uses 20 Energy and brings Keero-Keero back!
To be Continued...
