Maybe if a Mudokon Necromancer could Chronopossess a very old corpse, sending him three hundred into the past, he could gather up many Meeches into a small ark and sail to a remote island (there always is one) and let them go, the Meeches would survive.
If this Necromancer took enough Meeches to this island, then the remaining Meeches would have become extinct before the industrials hunted them too much. They'd have become extinct by the Scrabs and Paramites who battle them for food, and by Mudokon Hunters!
This leads to a larger population of Scrabs and Paramites, for their population would grow because of a common enemy destroyed. By the time the industrials get there, the Scrabs and Paramites would be flourishing. It might even drive the Industrials away, because these legions of Scrabs and Paramites would flock to the cities to eat the Industrials. The Industrials would have to be nomadic, like the Mudokons, to survive.
Meanwhile, the Meeches would have tripled in population on the island. The population would have resulted in higher aggression and evolution, causing the Meeches to develop larger brains. They might even discover how to travel the oceans to Mudos!
Ok, enough of that theory...
