How does stranger go to the Doc's office ?

Hi!
I am told to go to Port Authority and that there is somebody wearing something green to help me out... but there is nobody and I keep on going back and for.

Can I pass Gizzard Gulch without the binoculars?

It doesn't seem to be possible to get the bad folks without the binaculars, How do I get into the place?
I'm afraid I'll have to start the game from 0 because I cannot go back to town either.

I don't seem to find any stunks on my side of the...

I don't seem to find any stunks on my side of the river, according to the radar they are all on the other side. I don't understand it!

The stranger is stuck right at the tutorial!

I am trying to cross the river and get the stunks animals, I cannot figure out how to. I tried to get on the rope and there is no way, swimming doesn't work either. What can I do?
