arm transplant
owww, my left arm has been hurting for several days now...i really wish i had a Vykkers Labs voucher cos i hear transplants there are really expensive...
if i did have one, i'd get my left arm replaced with a BBS' arm, cos they look strong...and i think they have a quality garantee that states: "if your transplant stays on, you can keep it" anyway, while we're on the subject of Vykkers Labs, what would you have transplanted, added or removed from your body if you could afford it??? |
He he... 'if it stays on you can keep it'. That's funny!
Although a green clawed BBS's arm on a pink/brown human would look weird. I'd like to have a prehensile tail and wings added. Humans already have little vestigial tail vertebrae in their pelvises, so that'd just be a case of adding more of them, and lengthening nerves, muscle and blood vessel tissue. Wings would be harder, though. Birds have such muscular pectorals in order to make them fly; that if humans had pectorals on the same scale, they'd be two metres deep! Also, for true flight, you need 1 square foot of wing surface area for every 2.5 lb of mass. I weigh 182 lb, so I'd need a toal wing surface area of 72.8 feet, or 36.4 feet per wing. That would pretty much be a physical impossibility, especially since I'd then need more muscle to lift such big wings, and then it would be a viscious cycle; more muscle to lift more wing to lift more muscle to lift more wing to lift... But gliding, as opposed to actual flying, requires a much smaller surface area. In theory a human could glide with a 20 foot squared wing area. I'd like that; I'd love to be able to throw myself off tall buildings and glide safely back down to earth a la Spyro... |

oh, and i want my tail-reminants removed and i need an appendix transplant, my current one isn't working... |
Don´t worry Gluk, don´t worry. Smile, don´t have problem....
Here, in vykker labs, we transplant all you want...and when I say all is ALL... |
i will have implants in my eyes so i can see in the dark like in pitch black
|
what type?
sonar or infra-red? |
Isn't sonar a form of echolocation, not vision?
|
I'd want cyber eyes that can see through walls, identify things, target stuff, melt titanium, see in the dark, magnify stuff, and automatically become sunglasses. That way I can have super powers AND not suffer the social stigma of having crazy looking arms and stuff.
|
it's still a form of vision...bats use it very well, they find mid-air INSECTS with it!
|
I'd get my eyes and ears enhanced. maybe they could pop in some eyes that see in a much better frame per second ratio than now and be able to see the REAL rainbow not just the version we see. and ears that could discern almost the whole spectrum of sound, you know, hear the whales hump and all.

I think I would transplant legs. I would like legs modified for running and jumping very fast, very high.
|
i would have an attitude transplant so i wouldn't just slack off here when i'm meant to be doing work... :D
no, seriously, i would have a foot transplant. i hate my feet. they're ugly feet. or a brain transplant, so i could do telepathy, telekinesis, and all sorts of groovy things... hehe on a side-note, a friend of mine, Adam [i have mentioned him before a couple of times] recently became obsessed with Pyrokinesis, and we once spent an hour and a half standing on a street [another friend, Matt, wanted to catch a bus there, and we waited with him. the bus was an hour and twenty minutes late...] trying to set fire to various things with our minds, but we stopped in the end because Matt pointed out that Sod's Law predicted that when the bus finally did arrive, we would be so excited that we would suddenly succeed, and it would burst into flames, so he'd have to wait for another... :D sorry about that... |
actually, echo-location is using your voice to make it bounce off of objects. thats how they find objects in the dark.

just a linguistic observation, that's all... i wouldn't mind a Bluetooth port connected to an un-used part of my brain...then some free Bluetooth-enabled devices...that'd be F-U-N!!! |
don't ask me, that's what i said, but the word is Pyrokinesis according to Adam...
besides, making things hotter is just a matter of speeding up the molecules, so it's really just a sort of Telekinesis... |
*glides past with her brand-spanking-new wings* :D
