The definitive Conker: Live & Reloaded thread.

Yes, I stole the Halo thread thing. Ah well. So, this is here for us to talk about the crazy antics of the red squirrel until L&U comes out.

If you want to know what it is, go here;

The best thing is, the single player mode is all revamped,

(quote)While everyone is itching to get a load of Perfect Dark Zero, Rare’s biggest XBOX offering at E3 will definitely be “Conker: Live & Uncut”! Aside from the big Live components, the single player experience has been spruced up significantly! A source claiming to be a tester at Rare told me that the British developer has added some entirely new levels based off much more current films to spoof around with! While he/she wouldn’t give me specifics, the source did mention hot blockbusters like Spiderman and The Lord of The Rings to give me a general idea! (/quote)

I had a new pic of Conker, but I can't find it. :fuzsad: He's gonna be done with the Starfox Adventures fur renderer program. :fuzgrin:

E3 Has brought good tidings of Conker.

It's no longer a gritty WW2 feel. This is not the past. This is the future. There are no more old bombers. There are crazy sci-fi fighters. Explosives. Laser guns, Rocket Launchers. Pulse Weapons. Energy swords. And no mroe Tediz. Now...it's mecha-Tediz.

Go here, watch the video, and get ready to pittle your pants.

One of the notable things is, in the level, "Spooky", your no longer your usual, casual denim and sneaker wearing shotgun toting squirrel. Lets just say this, Adventure lives forever. ;) (don't say if you know.)

damn, this games lookin good. I want a new level with the robo-tediz, though.

and the new spooky is nice :)

sligster 05-15-2004 07:56 AM

name change most likely

EDIT: Conker won the best platformer title for E3!

http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/80...f-E3-Awards/p4

among the winners of other catagory's were Splinter Cell 3, Prince of Persia 2, Dead or Alive Ultimate, Mech Assault 2, Fable, and Halo2(of course).

Halo2 won around 3-4 awards... damn.

Big_Bro_Slig222 05-15-2004 11:13 AM

Damn, I really gotta get an Xbox.

More good news;

:

Multiplayer
The multiplayer has been getting the brunt of Rare's attention (you read that right). There are several different game modes, including a Bot mode called Botoids, but the main mode of focus are the campaign modes. You choose between Old War and Future War. One is a Private Ryan spoof, the other is a T2 spoof. The weapons, vehicles, and looks of the characters change completely, as do the missions. For each mode there are three missions, that much be completed in succession, with cut-scenes bridging each.

So WW2 Conker is still there, good. And the addition of bots means that you aren't forced to get Live to enjoy multi. This game is getting better by the minute.
