OWI next trip to London.
 

Hi all, I need to ask you all a question.
Does anyone know when OWI are coming for their next trip in London? I know there was conventions in London with OWI for AO, AE and MO but I'm not sure about when their next trip will be because the previous trips were courtesy of a Microsoft exchange. Anyone have any info on their next London trip? Thxxx.

OWI never held an official convention in London to my knowledge, I'm not saying there wasn't a convention, it just wasn't official.

Are you talking about a seminar? Maybe OWI held a seminar to people whome are looking for a career in the gameing industry. If so I wouldn't be surprised if OWI did do that.

No, no, sorry i shoud've claryfied myself. there were big gaming conventions and there were a few Oddworld reps there, it wasn't because of an official OWI trip, sorry, again, i should've claryfied myself.

Umm. The London Games Show. (You know, the ones that are done by the same people as NY Games Show, Tokyo Games Show etcc?)

Sometimes Lorne and Sherry go out to different countries to promote their games. If I recall correctly, because I was pretty well pissed off that I'd missed it, Lorne and Sherry had made a trip over here to Australia, either during AE's release, or MO's release.

I'm quite sure that it wasn't for MO. It may have been for one of the abe games as I wasn't an oddwatcher back then

I remember reading that Lorne and Sherry made an in-store appearance at a gaming store in Sydney once. That is probably what Peter is referring to. I think it was promoting Abe's Exoddus. They were signing items and the like for fans. That kind of thing rarely happens anymore [in any industry]. But I didn't really know what Oddworld was back then, so I had no hope of going.
