Rediculous Band Names Needed!

Hey guys. I need some rediculously funny band names for some comics. Something like the Popcorn Fairies, or Electric Bread. I reeeeealy need these names. They need to be appropriate for kids. Thanx!

the brew master 04-04-2004 01:05 PM

how about dixie normus

ANN NEELY 04-04-2004 01:25 PM

Appropriate?

Is that kid appropriate. Just askin'. I don't know.

Sekto Springs 04-04-2004 02:03 PM

Kid appropriate huh? Okay how about the Ass-goblins, or the F*cknutterz, or the Cocksmiths, or the Butt-holes, or the Granpa suckerz. Appropriate enough.

Nate 04-04-2004 02:23 PM

Just open the dictionary at random and choose two words that sound good together. That's how I got my signature!

I don't know how this will work as a band name but I decided that the first album I put out after I get my recording contract (ha!) will be "Imitation Swearwords". I don't know why I like it but I do.

SeaRex 04-04-2004 03:34 PM

Well, I was going to say "The Bleeding Rectal Belches," but I guess that isn't kiddie kosher.

Think of a band name that seems like it's trying to be desperately goth... like "Death Toast Madness" or something like that.

Havoc 04-04-2004 04:24 PM

Toast Killers, Gibby Worms, Corny Chicks, The Bowling Balls, Freakin Feasco... just some random names :)

Abe's son 04-04-2004 04:32 PM

"So horrible we cant even say it"

or

"@#&*$"

Mac the Janitor 04-04-2004 05:12 PM

The Jesus Eaters

ANN NEELY 04-04-2004 05:21 PM

We need these to be appropriate for a children's site for six year olds to twelve year olds (A.K.A, Neopets.com). So, we can't have anything religious or swear words in it.

Mac the Janitor 04-04-2004 05:24 PM

Ah.

Ok then.

The ***** Eaters

Nate 04-04-2004 08:45 PM

kid friendly names:

carpet lickers, pussy ticklers, ball catchers, knob turner

ClaireBear 04-04-2004 10:55 PM

I really wanna add some of my more choice offerings but seeing as you're getting very little real help here I will oblige...

The Bass Cords
Turbulance
Breaking Glass
Five to Nine
Sub-Zero

Then it all gets dirty! You didn't specify what genre the band is so sadly these are a little rock... but its what I'm into!

Hope this helps!

Howard Dean Scream. I don't know why, but I've thoguht that would be a good band name for damn long time. Or Sonic Death Monkey, if your kids are into Jack Black(And who isn't, am I right?)

TheRaisin 04-05-2004 08:54 AM

My personal favorite, if you can fit it on a CD case, would be That Band Whose Name I Can't Remember. Ooh, copyright it fast though, my sister thought it up. Who knows when she'll start her band...
You could also use Armadillo Army, or Johnny Hepcat and the New England Wailers, or The Electric Psychedelic Pussycat Swingers, or Ubiquitous Formicidae, or The Cybertronic Gumball Machine, or Death Monkeys, or Limozeen, or Lazer, except those two are probably protected by copyright laws. Or you could just take some cool-sounding word and spell it wrong, like Rayzor Blade, or Mystic Spyral. Or if it's a blues band, you need three things: a disability, a fruit, and a last name, like Blind Lemon Jefferson, or Old Honeydew Johnson. And if it's a heavy metal band it doesn't matter, because the more horrible the name the more they love you, like Rancid. So call it Filth, or Feces, or Stench, or Putrid Piles of Disgusting Putrefying Decay.
Well, there ya go! And they're all kid-friendly. Maybe some of those last ones aren't exactly in good taste. Provocative they may be, though, they're not nearly as bad as the ones these people are coming up with. Pussy ticklers... you sick ****.

Electric bread... heh heh. I love that one. "Now please welcome... ELECTRIC BREEEEEEEAAAD!" "EEEE! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE!"

Fez 04-05-2004 09:00 AM

well, God's Right Hand is the name of my band, but that's not bad.....how about.....Joshy.....Joshy plus!

ANN NEELY 04-05-2004 12:18 PM

Limozeen is from Homestarrunner.com.
We need something geeky. Like the Geek Boys, or the Demon Toasters. A band name for an annoying instrument. Like the kazoo, or bagpipes.

Di$array 04-05-2004 12:19 PM

what kind of genre is it ???

Esus 04-05-2004 12:23 PM

How about:
Muddy Puddle?

ANN NEELY 04-05-2004 12:42 PM

Bionic 04-05-2004 01:04 PM

Dragonology is awesome!

Nothing that has to do with alchohol, please.
Remember, it has to be appropriate for young children. No toilet humor, please.
*Notices she uses the word `Please' too much  . Sounds like that girl on the Amanda Show.*

As far as I remember, there haven't been any to do with alcohol. None of my suggestions were toilet humour either.

Are you even using these suggestions? Would you like to make all our effort worth it by actually showing some appreciation rather than scolding us with rules?

Sorry if I'm being a bit harsh AN, but for gods sake, you could at least have some gratitude.

ANN NEELY 04-05-2004 05:28 PM

Bionic suggested "Drunken Puppy" and "Supreme Flatulence", which I don't find appropriate.

Codek 04-05-2004 05:30 PM

Christ so he did! :|

Must've missed it.

What is a genre?

Emmmm?... dificult to explain actually...

It means the "type, kind or sort" of something... generally the term is applied to literature, art, film and music.

So like in my previous post here my band names were geared around the rock genre...

Other music genres include pop, punk, ska, classical, jazz, blues... etc
Literature genres include romance, horror, thriller, etc..

Use the word three times and its yours!!!!
