Best Xbox Live Game?
 

Hello all, I am planning to get Xbox live very soon, and I was wondering... What is the Best Xbox live game? OH yeah, and... With the Xbox Live Starter Kit, does it come with Demos? Thanx!

I love playing XIII on Xbox live. It's the best out there atm, imo.

Rainbow Six 3 is really great. Don't listen to ferill, though. :D (The SA-80 is that .50 cal sniper rifle, right? That weapon is so unbalanced it takes NO skill.) Learn to use the G36C, Desert Eagle, and frag grendades effectively. You'll be unstoppable. Well... that combo always worked for me, at least.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was also a great game. Lotsa' good ole' drama and teamwork. Looking back, this game was the one I had the strongest addiction to, following Unreal Championship.

I got tired of Mechassault. I sold it.

the SA-80, thats the green 5.56 assault rifle, i guess in the US version its called the L-85?

The G36C isnt to good, bad damage. but good range. The Deagle is a great sidearm to have, i forgot about it....

Yeah, the US version is the L-85. I was wondering why I hadn't heard of the SA-80. It's good, but I prefer guns with only 2x on the scope.

Damage doesn't matter. Seriously, a *tap tap* one-three bullets from the G36C or FAMAS aimed at the head should bring anyone down. Think about it this way: If you fire upon someone and you don't get a headshot, all you've done is wasted ammo.

i always tend to "double-tap", aimed at the upperchest. As the chest is the best impact point. Headshots a great but there is more chance you'll miss. Its called the SA-80A2 over here as thats its military name, its factory name is the L-85A2. I like the USP .40, i use that often. Basically i use either:

L-85A2 (its the UK's standard issue!)
Desert Eagle .50AE
HE grenades (from M203)
Incdentary (sp?) (also from M203)
gas mask

FN P90 (for really close quarters)
MAC 10
M203 with HE
M203 with the burning grenades. (I just cant spell the damn word!)
gas mask

G3A3 (Most damage in the game)
USP .40
M203 with HE
M203 with incindatary? grenades
gas mask

UMP .45 (if i need to be quiet)
mk. 23 SOCOM
M203 with HE
M203 with....damnit, you know what i mean

G3A3 shakes too much. Like I say, damage doesn't matter to me, so I'll choose a weapon I know I can get headsots with.

Usually, I'll use...

CQB only
USAS 12-G (a bit cheap, but takes more skill than the .50cal)
Frag Grenades
Tear Gas
Gas Mask (there are only 4 spots in the Merkan version, does the UK version allow an extra spot for the gas mask?)

Varied Situations (fave)
G36C (occasionally FAMAS; a "scoped" headshot from either of these rarely misses, as they barely shake at all.)
Deagle (hehehe...)
Frag Grenades
Gas Mask

Long Range (like the Warehouse level)
M-16

I love smoke grenades. If the server has thermals turned off, I never hesitate to use them... 'cuz I'm annoying like that. :D

Me too. I want to play some people on the forums again.

The only reason to buy RS3 is Xbox Live, anyway. The first-player game's AI is pathetic. The Live is loads of fun... too bad there wasn't an objective-based mode. Now THAT would be cool.

Return to Castle Wolfenstien is the best in my opinion. It has a ton of variety in modes and settings. It's the one online game I play regularly now.

Before Return to Castle Wolfenstien, Mechassault kept my attention for months. This is a definite buy, because you get a hell of a lot of new downloadable maps, modes and mechs right off the back. Once again, this game too has some of the best variety.

Unreal Championship is good, but I find it hard to get into the game, because there are so many hardcore players. I get my ass kicked way too often. There is a bit more lag then some of the other games, but there is enough good in the game to make it a must buy.

There are other great ones, but I don't feel like going into them now. Check reviews to see what fits you best.
