Is it me or does Munch's Oddysee look incredibly crappy compared to the Playstation 2 version?

I can't say I've noticed any difference. XBox is supposed to have better graphics than PS2, but in truth there is very little difference visually. What makes the XBox superior is that it can shift more polygons at once, so there can be more characters on screen at any one time.

Doesn't stop me being pissed off with the move to 'Box, though.

the only reason you can tell the difference between an xbox and a ps2 is by FMV graphics!

Xbox supports Dolby's Digital 5.1 standard and Sensaura's 3D audio technology
it has poly-pushing power
it's easier to program, which means the games will be better quality...
OI are intelligent, right...so they obviously thought long & hard about moving MO to Xbox...

And X-Box loox sexy...PS2 is like...OMG...a black box...not that i have got n e thing against black boxes...they'r my fave pass time...but n e way, PS2 looked shit, lets hope PS3 will look finer. But wen that cums out...X-Box 2 will b behind it, ready to shaft the poor bugger...oohhh well...lifes a bitch!

BigFace: I think what you're thinking of are the pre-rendered movies on oddworld.com. Those weren't actual segments of gameplay on PS2, but projections of what the game would ideally be by the time it was finished.

I don't want to start a war, but how can you say that?! PS2 is utterly gorgeous. It looks very masculine and dramatic, and has a stark, harsh outline that demands to be taken seriously. When it's in the vertical position, it is proud and majestic, and complements any TV it is placed next to.

And you're silly to criticise the PS2 for being a black box. In case you hadn't noticed, the XBox is black and box-shaped!

will munch's oddysee be on the PC as well as the consoles?

well I came to this conclusion while viewing the IN GAME movies on ps2.ign.com and the screen shots of the Xbox version from Xbox.com and xbox.ign.com and it just seemed that the playstation was MUCH better, Abe's eyes were popping out and Munch didn't have that stupid look on his face that he does in the Xbox screen shots. Check it out.
