what do you think the world will be like in 2030? 2040? 2050?

i think we'll have world peace, and we'll all be in great health due to nanomchines, and we would have made islands due to overpopulation.

I've writen a short story on what the future could bring. It's finished, and I'm submiting it to a magazine to get published.

Anyway, I see things moving faster. Like, a chip in your brain, hand...etc that has all your personal information etc. Let's say you're going to buy something...like a book. No more going to checkout. Just grab your item and leave. A chip reader is stationed at the exit. Walking past the exit reads your personal chip and attomatically deducts payment.

Yeah, I see stuff like that.

nah, you wont have to go. You'll be buying everything through the net (which has continued to insanely grow)

I think the future will be a mess because of nuclear warfare, disease, etc.
But that's just me. I'm so negative.

I doubt people will begin buying shtuffs off the net, going out and trying shtuffs on in person is much more fun. I hope that people will be able to manufacture their babies, i so want that to be reality.

One of my main hopes though is that nature finds a way to kill us off. Its been trying for ages what with introducing AIDS at the end of the 70's. Then Cancer. Then making us sterile. Hopefully it'll succeed and natural selection will kick in sometime.

It will be a smoking hellhole torn apart by class warfare, drug cartels, and the world's impossibly large debt. Fac it, were screwed. I'm just glad that I'll be dead before the crap really hits the fan.
