Impossable code
I've looked at this code and I'm still baffled! Calculated it at all conjecture, viewed from all weevil screens, looked everywhere for a similar pattern usage...but nothing. This is one mother of a code and even I cannot crack it. It looks like a load of randomly typed Javascript...but it's a code to unravel one of the internet's most extreme remnants. See if you can crack it..
What does it mean!!!!! :flames:  EDIT: the forums doesn't have an extensive text character selection so you must go here to see it. |
Nothing I'm familiar with. Do you know what it does?
|
It's really hard to explain...
A web remnant is a piece of lost information that was usually banned or forgotten in a web distaster and are usually twisted and f*cked up by banishing codes making them very unpredictable. You have to be a skilled hacker just to find a web remnant let alone crack one, and this one is the hardest code that I've ever seen, I don't think even Billy G. could decode it. Some web remnants are hard to control once cracked, some even contain viruses that could erase all the harddrives within a 30 mile radius! Luckily we hackers have gotten together on a set of private chats and managed to create a powerful firewall protective system that should delay a virus long enough for us to delete it (if we can). Well, I pretty much summed up what it is and what it does as simply as I can. There are alot of very, very, complicated components to this but I won't bother to explain it in that manner. |
ahem...It reads:
"Hobo is a dickhead" hmmmm...dunno what that was about....strange.... |
It's not a sentance, well actually I don't what it is..It could be anything I spose from a sentance to a virus.
|
i'll contact my good friend Jamie, he knows all about this stuff. He even makes his own virus's!
|
Making your own viruses is child's play compared to this.

Theres the code people. Ah, the wonders of C&P. EDIT: Ah...It hasnt worked...Boy do i feel like an idiot right now... |
Ah Ha, I've managed to decode one out of like 30 of the data componants.
Look Please note that this is very unpredictable data. A dialog box should pop up telling you that this could be harmful, I can't tell you if it is or not...the Dialog box gives you the option of saving the document, If you want to see it you should save it and open it carefully into a program on your computer. EDIT: the componant I decoded is incomplete, but it looks like one of the componants of a sound file... |
dont tell me you've been workin on this all day.
|
No, just all night :p
|
I'm not taking any chances of screwing up my computer. See ya guys later.
*moves to another thread...a safe thread* -oddguy :fuzcool: |
It's safe, I checked

I know exactly what that is. PHP has tried to put a small jpeg onto a page, but didn't parse it because it had no file extension.
Don't bother trying to crack it, it means nothing. You could try removing some of the tags however, and saving it as a jpeg/jpg though, but I doubt it would work now. There are no other coding languages that use special characters like that, especially in that way. I've seen one or two php programmed sites that use special characters to hide triggered events, and to coverup scripted bits, which is impossible to decode without the coders decoding alphabet. You could try asking the webmaster if he has a decoding alphabet, but again I seriously doubt it. |
Remants have no tags, nor is it a jpg. You have to learn about them more, this goes beyond normal (or advanced) comp/hacking knowledge. I would transcript my chat with the others but I'm not allowed...sorry.
There are languages that use such coding but they're very hard to come by and have only been distributed through a large line that only hackers of a particular forsythe are available to view. I will PM you with more info, you seem willing to learn. Web Remanats and their creators have no webmasters, they are usually very secretive or unknown. |
:
However I eagerly await your PM. Please remember, that I am beyond both normal and advanced hacking knowledge and skills. And I have not even heard of "remnants". I learnt hacking from the early Bulletin boards, and I'm pretty sure that if these "remnants" exist, I would've picked it up. |
(sorry for postwhoring, but)
<><== ╚╚◄Ã*>>WA>. Translates to: less than, less than, L, and, bracket, underscore, latin small letter u with acute, F, capital letter N with tilde, sigma, dash, closebracket, bracket, seven, hash, hash, and, G, Peseta, black small square, closebracket, percent, circumflex accent, circumflex accent, box drawings double down and horizontal single, underscore, dash, hash, L, B, period, more than, more than, less than, equal to, equal to, box drawings double up and right, box drawings double up and right, black left pointing pointer, latin small letter a with grave, more than, more than, W, A, more than, period. |
So...
< < L & ( _ ú F Ñ Σ - ) ( 7 # # & G ₧ ▪ ) % ^ ^╥╥ _ - # L B . > > < = = ╚ ╚ Ã* > > W A > . ...? Assuming that brackets are parentheses, dashes are hyphens, all letters are capital unless otherwise stated, and vB3 can handle these box drawings identities which I'm not at all sure about. Added spaces for clarity - I really am venturing into a risky topic, here, but I love uncommon characters. :nerdsmilie: |
Yes, yes yes, but what does it mean?
