You can't have it both ways, Senator.

Kerry is basically Bush lite. He voted for tons of things that hard-core Democrats were against but were Bush-approved like the medicine bill, the No Child Left Behind Act, the tax cut scheme and the "war" in Iraq. So, if I was Bush I would sucker punch Kerry with the following as my opening statement at the presidential debates.
"You say that you are devoted to change. But what, precisely, would change? Fiscal practices? As I recall you voted for nearly every budget and program I asked for, including these tax cuts that you scream so shrilly about. Could it be education? No, you've voted for my bills on that, too. Would it be military policy? No, you supported the war and my war budgets. It isn't in Medicare, either, as you voted for my revolutionary prescription drug bill that will help people get the medical treatment they need and deserve. Why change? Why should people vote for you? You're Bush lite. You know it, I know it, and now the American people know it."
That'd be like a kick to the nuts for Kerry.

Maybe he has different views to Bush on different important things? I don't live in America so i don't really know alot about your...system. But maybe the things he'd change haven't been discussed yet. You can't throw somebody into a political group just because he's agreed with something the opposition party has said.

I agreed with the BNP that we were getting too many Asylum Seekers over here that were doing f*ck all...doesn't mean i want to burn all un-pure-English people.

I'm just raising the point that supporters of Kerry always fawn over him because he promises "change" but he acted like Bush's toady on every issue that mattered within the past 3 years.
