Any cosmic art fans out there?

I was cerious if anybody on here likes cosmic art.

My paticulary fav cosmic air brush artist is a guy by the name of Andrew C Stewert. Here is an example of some of his stunning work. This is what Jupitor is suppose to look like if you were to venture into this gasious planet. This painting is an Acrylic on Canvas that is 51X24 inches. And its done in Airbrush. This is exactly one of the kinds of art that I like to do and get lost in while I am produceing it. Its so fun doing paintings like Andrew C Stewert because you are literally loose when your doing something like this. Your like playing God and your creating your world.

And here is another one I like.

These are all done with acrylics through an airbrush. Do u have a paticular fav cosmic artist? If so post his or her work.

Not being an avid artist, I dont know the difference between cosmic and other types of art. I must say though, those images are very nice.

I admire cosmic art very much. I'd say Spectrum 10 is full of cosmic art and I'll list the ones I like out of there.

p136 Feathered Friends by Kirk Reinert

p148 Edgedancer by Michael Whelan

Then there are some darker works I enjoy. Like all of Raymond Swanlands.

p54 Crow by John Howe

I'll list more later.

Cosmic art is any kind of art that depicts eather science Fiction or astronomy. Like paintings of the surfaces of other planets where you see a red giant star engulping the planet or painting of galaxies. Space art is what I am talking about.

I thought you were talking about science fiction/fantasy art. Oh well. :fuzemb:

Yeah Oddguy thats exactly what I am talking about. Cosmic art is another part of it. Mainly it would be strictly Science Fiction. Oddworld is an example of certain forms of Cosmic art.
