Hehe I dunno I just was looking at IGN and I noticed on how some of the people don't know what we know here at OWF. I cannot believe I called myself a guru! Wow I really need get out. I havent played the games for months now I am just waiting for the new one. So I was just bored and I decided to tell them some of the info we know about the game. Thats about all that was. So I simply made myself an account there and Im not going to post there at all. Ill probabaly get myself banned there which I can care less. But I had to tell them that it was called Stranger I guess I was just bored. I was doing this in the morning so that explanes the word Guru.
Go figure the person that posted in that thread doesn't even believe me. Hmm maybe somebody else from here should come in and inform the un educated wannabe OW fans like what I tried to do. Mann I am pathetic. Its like they don't know what we know. I dunno something just made me want to inform them some of the stuff we knew. Hell I was just helping them out sort of I guess. I think I am too nice!:eek: As I sit here and get really embarrassed! :blush: |
I just found it so funny, because compared to the ign oddworldians, any one of us here at OWF could be an Oddworld guru!:p

Its all cool mann I know its all fun. Think about it though you do have a good point we are Oddworld Gurus. And that person doesnt even believe me. Someone else needs to support me on this. We need to educate IGN its driveing me crazy when I read what they are saying. They know Steef and all but there is soo many things they have wrong! Dude I am going educate them I think I should.

I think one of the main reasons why he didn't believe it was merely the presentation.
The whole post style sounded like a typical attention grabber. Doing a first post full of previously undiscussed information with no decidingly pvoing references. Not to mention PA threw his title of "official membor and Mod" out, hinting a tinge of arrogance (though really PA, your normally quite humble;)). Then there's the rushed feel of the post, as if it was typed in a hurry, not checked over, and posted. If you read the post through in your mind or speak it out loud, if just doesn't feel quite right. Not to mention the numerous grammarical mistakes. Of course, this is your usual style PA, which ads more to the overall variety people here. But I think this may go to show how a person should present themself to people as any sort of representative. *thinks* Maybe that's another thing I should type up... How to present yourself to others in a casual setting. Except that doesn't really belong anywhere on the forum... Curses. I really need to start up a site using the webspace granted by Comcast to it's users. |

I don't think inviting people who have a strict loathing for the Xbox here is a good idea. Especially if that was the reason for loosing interest in Oddworld.
