Anybody know any file sharing software, site or any form of program that allows me to download movies? Dont mention Kazaa cause i'm already using it and its not finding me the movie i want.
So anybody know? :fuzblink: |
Careful Joshy, you're asking for Moviez... A cousin of Warez and Crackz...

There's Winmx, but I don't know how good it is with movies.

A forewarning to anyone who is planning on using it or thinking about using it, do not use Edonkey. My friends told me that when they downloaded movies through it, it was uploading files off their computer, etc.

I only ever tried to download one movie illegally [try to guess ... and hey, I was waiting for the DVD to come out after seeing it multitudes of times in the cinemas]. And from that experience, trying to find the movie was a nightmare. I found loads of sites that "said" they had it ... but clicking the links either took me to a dead link or I just went around in circles from links that took me back to the same place.
Since then I have found out about BitTorrent [supposedly has anime and movies ... not sure as I just downloaded Advent Children trailers off it before I had my site] ... which seems to be very reliable. But the problem is that you need to know a site that has a Torrent that you can use. I've never really searched to see if there is a directory or such available out there. Abe Babe... |

Downloading movies off the net is wrong because...
I like having the actual DVD of my favorite movie in my lovely hands and knowing I have a nice official case that came with it and all the cool DVD extras. -oddguy :fuzcool: |
Well, I disagree in just a few aspects. I myself the only time I got a movie before it came out was Episode 2. And the quality was even better than VHS, and almost up to DVD quality. Plus I had seen the movie like three or four times in theatres, and when it came out, I bought it on VHS, and DVD. Not to mention I am a huge SW Fan, and I give so much money for the action figures and collectibles for my collection. The same with LOTR.
Ive allready seen ROTK in theaters like three times, and I dont want to wait that much longer (may) to see it on DVD, so I am tempted to see if my friend can get me a good copy of it just to hold me over. I but for each movie the normal version and Extended when it comes out. So in my opinion as long as you are planning to see it when it is in theaters, and also planning on getting it when it officially is released, I dont see the complete problem. I think the problem is more so with people who dont even bother to see it when it comes out or buy it legally when its finally released. |
