i have an idea......

How about each member has an individual "photo album" where all the pictures they put on the forums as attachments or downloaded pictures go. They can be viewed easly, and you should be able to add to it without putting the picture in the post.

This would really help Xav out as they just have to click "Look at Xaviers album" and all his pictures are there! So they can find what they are looking for. Also if you want to put up a picture that needs hosting, all the pics in your album can be hosted by the forums!

so what do you think?

Hey, I'm for it if it's possible.We could have a personal album for personal pics, random pics, and art.

There could also be a Forum Album with one personal picture for each member.

That would be quite useful to see examples of banners people have designed, collections of artwork, etc... Esus put it perfectly. Sounds a bit hrad to implement.

Yes! Brilliant! It could be like in their profile; click on there name and you can select on option called 'view photo album' or something. That way you guys could all see my art without me having to clog up the forums with a bazillion threads filled with attachments and uploads. BRILLIANT!! Get Kristen in here quick! Get Abe Babe! Must....have....Photo Album!

Hmmm. It might not be so hard to implement, as you already have your own personal attachment viewer. Which could double as a public attachment viewer. Although, you would still have to post in threads with attachments, as the attachment table uses POSTID's, meaning you have to have a post to reference it to.

So could we just have one uploading thread, which isn't used for anything other than uploading?
