Final Fantasy X-2
Only a couple more days until we finally see this game in Australia!!! That is, if it isn't delayed again. As EB told me it was delayed until next Monday, but another gaming store told me it was out on Tuesday.
I played the demo some many months ago at an anime convention ... and have been waiting for the release ever since!!! I even considered importing at one time [as the US have had it since November], but I guess I aren't that fanatical. Also, the lucky Japanese will be getting FFX-2 International + Last Mission on Feb 20 ... they get all these extras, and the 2nd version of the game. Plus they get a new Advent Children trailer!!! I was in the shopping centre (or the mall for you Americans) when I passed EB, and I saw the giant FFX-2 posters. I was actually amazed, because I'd not realised it was so close to release!
It looks promising, from what I've seen. And no, I'm not talking about the mini-skirts ;) Alcar... |
I've never played FF, but that doesn't mean the game hasn't caught my attention before. I mean, The women are so beautiful! It's really not like me to say that about video game characters...mainly because I know they aren't real. I didn't get it when my friends were playing Tomb Raider and saying Lara Croft was so hot. "She's not real," I'd say. I don't know what it is about FF, but when I see those girls I wish they were real!

...erm... *moves away from oddguy* So, ... *eyes oddguy* ... Does anyone of you know when FFX-2 is supposed to be released in Europe? |
Dear God! I really didn't mean that in a weird way.

I just saw a TV advert for them, no release date as such though.
Yes oddguy she is indeed tasty for a simulated being. What gets me though is how can there be a sequal to something with the word final in it's name? |
^ What is more ... is how can there be 11+ games in a series with the word "final" in it. Actually, I do know this ... but, well I won't bore you all with the story.
Anyways, I have had the game for a few days now [thus my lack of time online] ... and it's a really enjoyable game. Although it does relate to the first game, it's a lot more "fun" than the previous games. Those were more serious and traditional RPG based. But FFX-2 has a new an innovative battle system and the game just has an overall fun feel about it. There are loads of side missions and things to do. But you don't have to do them all if you don't want to. So you can play the game as little or as less as you like. @ Red Muse ... it was released in Europe on Friday ... Australia got it early for some weird reason. @ Alcar ... I'm getting one of those posters soon!!! Yay!!! Going to the same gaming store since the release of FFX for every single game and getting to know them for that such reason pays off. ;) Abe Babe... |
Slightly off topic. I am having great fun on a ROM of Final Fantasy III right now, I would recommend it to any RPG fan, though there are a few Viruses that people claim to be ROMs out there so be careful.

I gotta start saving money for it! Pronto! :
...wow... useless...facts...how...amazing... :| Anywho, if you mean the classic FFIII, I gotta say, the 8-bit Final Fantasies are rather...hard. Oh! Have you already gotten the uber-great-totally-ass-kickin'-Dragon Knight/Dragoon job?? :D |
Yes then I forgot to save and had to go back ages.
