Have you ever been to Hospital???

I'm just wondering if any of you guys have ever been to Hospital for anything?

Well myself, I have been once. I had knee surgery. I had some bone or ligament floating around in there. So it had to be taken out. Nothing really major. So what about you guys?

oddguy 02-11-2004 08:25 PM

Yes, well...when I was twlelve I was opening a can of cat food for my furry animal and this particular can had a pull top...so, I pulled as hard as I could, and sure enough, the lid came off...and sliced a big gash in my left hand.
I went to the hospital and had to get three stitches. Ta-Da!

Yes, but it was no major problem.

Hobo 02-12-2004 05:01 AM

Well once, when I had to go through this thing called birth.

oddguy 02-12-2004 06:43 AM

Whoa, you can remember that far back?!:p

Nath 02-12-2004 09:25 AM

I had to have thirteen stiches in my head when I was eight, I had a hernia operation when I was five, and then I had to have another operation when I was fourteen. I think I may even need to go back to have my arm checked out because sometimes I get a considerable amount of pain going through it. I also broke my leg when I was one.

Sekto Springs 02-12-2004 09:53 AM

I've gone to the hospital about 30 times. Various problems.

Asthma
Broken arm
Broken leg
Broken wrist
Cracked skull
Second degree burns
Big gash in my side
Tonsils
ETC...

GrigtheSlig 02-12-2004 09:53 AM

Well, I've had 2 surgeries, kidney stones, and I had to have a whole bunch of hospital tests, Including BEING CATHED! They put a plastic tube up my... manly area! :crying: Boy howdy it hurt! So, to answer your question, YES, I have been to the hospital.

When I had to get a tonsilectomy and have my adnoids removed, I became severely dehydrated. I could barely drink water and I passed out. I had to go to the emergency room and get all sorts of shots, vitamins, and have liquids pumped into me intravenously. It sucked because the doctor couldn't find any veins worth putting a needle in so I had to get jabbed about 6 times on each arm before he found suitable veins.

Same thing happened to me, only not as severely. I feel for you, man. I really do.

Not as much as attempting to have a conversation with you.

Yes, I've been to the hospital a couple of times.Once when my sister's blood wasn't healthy, she had to go to the hospital and put on this celine on her chest. She had to stay there for a couple of nights.Another time was when my grandma was smoking too much and her leg was like "cloged" up or something like that. And she had to have surgery. One time,it failed,Second time,it worked.

PS:That reminds me,when i was in school today,my teacher said that the president James A. Garfield was shot in the back and doctors had surgery on him WITHOUT him being asleep.Ouch...

Fez 02-13-2004 10:07 AM

probably not enough time. If it was to big for no morphine it means that they might as well put him in more pain to get rid of it. Probably bloody .45

Yeah,I agree with you.The wound was serious so they had no choice but to have surgery on him without puting him to sleep.

Silversnow 02-13-2004 11:27 AM

I've been there a couple of times. Once to X-ray my hand (my brother was laying on it, I tried to pull it away and twisted it in the wrong direction (nothing broken, if you're interested)), a lot of other times to go there, sit in a chair and listen to a doctor telling me to stop being so fat. And uhm... visit my mom after she'd given birth to my sister. Never had any real surgery or anything.

Rex Tirano 02-14-2004 07:39 AM

Big_Bro_Slig222 02-15-2004 06:04 AM

I had heart surgery.

paramiteabe 02-15-2004 05:51 PM

Ive been to the hospital. When I was 3 I had Krup which is a breathing type of illness. It was in the middle of the night when I had a hard time breathing so I was taken to the emergancy room to be put on a ventalater for a few days. Turned out I had Krup. But my mother has been in and out of the hospital ever since I was born way back in 1981. She has been under the knife numerous times because she has a unieque problem. A motility problem Her stumach just dident work and she just always got sick. So she had many surgeries and ended up getting part of her stumach taken out of her replaced with a pouch. She is indeed a strong person she even looks good for age since she is 50. She looks like she's 40. At least she is in good hands with her doctors.

Most of my hospital visits were when I was much younger.

I went there when I was three years old to have my tonsils removed. They were the size of golf balls so I had sleeping problems and sometimes I would stop breathing in the night, so finally we went to have them removed.

I also went back when I was three and had to get stiches from a huge cut I got on my face. Then a year later again to get stiches on the other side because my brothers and I were playing and he accidentally pushed me into a sharper part of a toy we were playing with. That time I had to get a tetnis shot in the side of my face, and oh boy did that hurt.

Finally, I just had to go there to get blood drawn and such, which always does feel a little weird.

L.o. 02-16-2004 09:39 AM

I had to go to the hospital to get my arm sewn up. It got torn open when I leaned against a mailbox & fell down.

The Red Muse 02-18-2004 02:57 AM

... ya don't say...

The hospital is kinda like my second home.

I go to blood tests every two weeks.

The last time I had to spend more that ten minutes at a hospital was when I had a pneumonia.

Other visits;

-When I got hit by a car.
-When I fell off a tree.
-When I got an air-rifle pellet in my eye. I have to admit that it was kinda nasty...
-When I broke my finger :p
-When I had a really bad allergic reaction--I almost choked to death!
-When the mean doctor took a liquid sample from my spinal cord...owchies...

That's about it... ^___^

greenangel 02-18-2004 10:55 AM

I've been to the hospital to have numerous x-rays for my crooked spine & also had surgery to get my gall bladder removed. The dude with the tools messed up or something, so I had to go in a second time and they made me swallow a rubber hose.. I didn't like that very much. T_T;
