hey i was just wondering if any body here plays starwars galaxies?

I heard it sucked big time. No vehicles...you have to run for 10 minutes to get from city to city...you can get killed by butterflies...wookies dance like idiots...etc. Although, I haven't played the game, so I haven't made my judgement on it. The thing is, I haven't played MMORPG's before.

some of the stuff u said was correct and the beta did suck but the game comes out with patches every month and adds new things like new professions and more, the 2 last patches came out with mounts ( dewbacks, kaddus to ride) and the newest one came out with speeder and swoop bikes and future patches like 1 on a week will be comming out with assault droids. its very fun if u like mmorp's, check it out

Well, that's good that it supports vehicles now. Can you travel from planet to planet yet? I heard that in the future you'll be able to fly through space with starships at leisure.

Yeah after the beta test you could easily get rides if you had enough credit to other planets. Most of the people saying it is bad probably only played the beta test, Ive only just watched a few of my friends play and I must say its great. With the daily patches and weekly, monthly, and future expansions the replay value is endless, plus its star wars and thats always a definite plus. :fuzsmile:

Yes, but how much moolah? I heard Star Wars galaxies was going to be on Xbox Live, but haven't seen anything about that since. Xbox Live is nicely priced with a cool yearly payment. These MMORPG's charge you monthly if I'm not mistaken. The only way I'd play SWG is if was on zee Almighty Xbox.

Well, you are right they originally planned that, but chances are looking slimmer. I think right now they are focused on making sure the PC version runs smooth, and updating it with patches daily, and such, and keeping the game going, and fun. :fuzsmile:
