Yes, he has a nack for making things look musty and dark. Great work!

Xavier 02-01-2004 08:00 AM

Glad you guys like it... It was realy much work to find all those good resolution pictures... and to make sure they were done by Raymond himself.

Esus 02-01-2004 08:10 AM

Hes a great artist. Really creates a brilliant effect in all of his work... lets hope he does some more Oddworld pictures.

Wil 02-01-2004 09:03 AM

Raymond is clearly one fabulously talented artist - that should surely go without saying, even though I just said it. Well done on digging all those up, Xav, I know how much work you put into finding them. Three cheers for our own resident Photo Album!

Its nice to see some of his other work, the only stuff I saw was his rough sketches of Steef and such on the X Factor program.

i hope i dont ruin the moment. But shouldnt this be in off-topic?

anyway. Amazing pics.

Wil 02-04-2004 09:20 AM

No, because it's not off-topic. It's related to Oddworld.

Abe's son 02-04-2004 03:36 PM

Priest looks very Tom Mc Farlinish. Tru Pwnage

nope... it's just the point... It was made by an Oddworld artist

Jacob 02-05-2004 11:26 AM

The pictures are rather groovy and the story sounds ace. A Priest who sold his Soul to fight evil, rather original.

Rex Tirano 03-02-2004 06:28 AM

The covers are amazing! And hes an oddworld artist? Kool. I love this artwork, but i havn't seen much else of his.

I have volume 1-4 (of priest). Hes going to try to make 30 isn't he? The art work inside the books isn't as amazing, the story's fun though.

Esus 03-02-2004 07:55 AM

He also has about 4-5 pics in Spectrum 10 book, each of them brilliant.

Xavier 03-02-2004 09:43 AM

jup... it's because of the spectrum book that I make this research...
If someone can find more or better quality I would be very happy!

Xavier 03-28-2004 06:55 AM

I found some "new" pictures of the Priest covers
2 of them are allready seen but are in better quality now

Sekto Springs 03-28-2004 07:21 AM

I also heard that Mr. Ray-ray did some cover art for the more recent Spawn comics. I went to my local comic bookery store and I recognised his art style on that cover in under a second.

oddguy 03-28-2004 09:21 AM

Everybody loves Raymond!

Raymond Swanland won the Gold Award for Unpublished work in the Eleventh annual Spectrum art awards!

Xavier 03-29-2004 05:37 AM
