Shock Rockers
 

Hey, if anyone didn't notice, in the little booklet that comes with MO, theres a picture of Shock Rocker Interns, but theres none in the game. :eek:

I mean, whats up with that? Why would they lst them if they're not in the game? :fuzconf:

......Or am I missing one in the game.... :fuzsad:

Well, everybody knows this. MO was originaly going to have Shock Rockers, but OWI wasn't able to put them in the final product due to time constraints because of the move from PS2 to the almighty Xbox.

Although, OW did say that MO had Easter Eggs, so maybe there is a hidden one...but we haven't found one as of yet, so we don't know.

For now on, any other questions should be asked in the Oddworld Questions and Answers thread.

They were not included in the final game... sadly...

Yep, there are no Shock Rockers. The easter eggs refer more to the Slig marching movie in the Boiler Room, the fireflies at the start of the Scrub Pens and the Elums in the Vykkers auditorium. There's no hidden content per se.

Ya know,I read that MO Instruction Manual a couple of days ago and thought of this too.It's a shame they aren't in there.(Heh,that was the first time I read an Instruction manual that had an error in it)

Easter Eggs, like the one magnum slig. I know MO was fontooned with wreaths of dissapointment, the Shock Rockers was just one of many fowl tasting frostings.

I just love that gun! I hope the next game with sligs has all of their guns like that one.

Wait, magnum slig? I missed this. Where is it, exactly?

Apparently the first Slig you encounter in the Scrub Pens of Flub Fuels is carrying a Magnum. I have looked, but I forget what I concluded. I did notice the first time I played through the game, though, how powerful a weapon it was - you can kill a fellow Slig in 2 or 3 shots.

I too came across this mistake.The Shock Rockers we're going to be on the PS2, but for some reason they took them out of the X-Box version.(I knew I read about this somewhere...)

are you sure they were intended to be in the PS2 version?
I begin to doubt about that theory

I think they we're going to be in PS2.Why would they even put a Shock Rocker in the booklet if it wasn't going to be on the PS2?

previous Xbox version maybe?
the demo that's on the american halo copy isn't in the game at all. Maybe the Shock Rocker was going to be in the Xbox version, but was scrapped.
It would make more sence

It must have been scrapped at the very end if they didn't even have the time to change the manual.
