Barbie Doll or a Tonka Truck?
Now just say that you were a single parent. Now you have a 7 year old son name Joey. In two weeks Joey will be turning 8 years old. So you ask him what he wants for his birthday and he answers "A Barbie Doll". So you say to him "Are you sure that you don't want a Tonka Truck instead?" He answers "No Thanks, I want a Barbie."
So what do you buy your son for his birthday? A Barbie Doll or a Tonka Truck? |

Well, I would get him a tonka truck, but maybe the son just wants a Barbie because hes starting to like looking at girls, and to like them more in general. ;) :p

I would also get the barbie in a Tonka truck. I mean, that way he can play with the truck when he gets bored of undressing the barbie and pretending its stripping. Then when I get bored with the barbie we trade back. And so on and so on and so on...
If it had too be one of them though, I'd go with the barbie. Hell, if my kid wants to be femenant, than that's cool. But hell, one present for a birthday? I know the concept of the question is whether to do what someone wants, or what you think is best for them, but still. |
Where's GI joe??? Anyways i'd get him both, so then he can run ova the barbie with the truck. Or use the barbie to ride the truck.

Forget that, he's getting a tonka truck, some cap guns, a couple hundred plastic soldiers and a shiteload of firecrackers. Trust me, after a couple rounds of cops-and-robbers and he sees a silver salute blow up a honeydew mellon in 4 seconds flat he'll come around.

If my son asked for a barbie I would get him a naked barbie doll to prevent him from turning gay.
