Somebody should send a message to the official oddworld site to update the link to the forum, since it no longer works.

Thats ok you havent missed much, we just went to a temp forum, while the server host was changed, and the forums were upgraded to VB.3. None of the temp forums discussions are being moved over that I am aware of, and most of them were just fun discussions to pass the time. :fuzwink:

How funny. I was just thinking of this. Yesterday I checked Oddworld.com to see if the link to the forums was cool. It wasn't, so I'm sure Abe Babe or Alcar are taking care of it...right?

I dont think it matters what the sign looks like, the old layout will return soon anyway. And the reason they didn't change the sign is because they recently got back from their vacation and are busy working on Feb updates.

Yeah, and I think most people find the forums through a search engine, or through another Oddworld Website besides just OWI. I found it back when they had just switched over from EZ board to VB, and came from both Sydney's site, and Abe Babe's sites.

Wasnt talking about the button image, was actually talking about the link itself. Click on their link/image and see.

Yeah, that's what I was talking about as well. The link takes you...well, a blank page.

I believe we can just set up a little re-direct ... so that if someone goes to www.oddworldforums.net/forums/ ... then it will just redirect them to the new URL. This way any links from anywhere [Oddworld.com, search engines, fan sites, etc] will all pont back to the right place.

Abe Babe and I don't have control over the content on Oddworld Inhabitants' website. I hope that when Alf returns, he'll notice the change, and update the link :)

When I said "Alcar or Abe Babe are taking care of it," I meant that you guys were probably notifiying the OW.com webmaster. :fuzwink: I didn't actually think you guys were in charge of OW.com!:p

Probably the redirect would be the best thing until Alf finds about the change in the address and adjusts the official site. :fuzsmile:

With the redirect ... nothing further really needs to be done. It all just points to here now.
