That's the point I was getting at with Ewan. Ewan McGregor is a great actor, but his acting wasn't that great in either Star Wars movies. I admit, he was better in EP2, but not at his best. I agree with you on George's bad direction. It seems like he is very hard to work for. I hear Liam had a real bad relationship with Mr. Lucas.

Well Ep 3 is going to be in many ways related to 4 which could rekindle that fire. One I saw a photograph of Hayden in real dark clothing along with long Hippie styal hair. 3 will be good because it won't be a love story and also 3 is going to be a very profound movie. We all know what happens but how is the question. There won't be a happy ending in 3. Also C3PO is now in his gold finnish which is nice. And I think Chewbaca is comming back. All I know is that there is a huge thing with wookies in the film. Perhaps it will be the Wookie sequence George wanted ever since the original trilagy. In one of the drafts Lucas wrote that there was a battle of wookies similar to the battle of Endor but the idea was hold off because of the introduction to Chewie to being a fairly suffisticated character. So he came up with Ewoks miniture wookies that were primative. I am drooling thinking about it. Mann it comes out summer 2005. Oh well!

Remember also this is going to be the darkest film of the entire saga, so dont be expect it to be PG this time around. I like Lucas, and I love the Star Wars films, but hopefully this time around hes going to improve just as he did from Episode 1 to 2, and make this a spectacular final chapter. I have high hopes for May 2005. :fuzsmile:

I am really looking forward to EP3. The battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin is going to be awesome. Also, I want to see how Obi hides Luke and Leia. Oh, I just want it to be good.

Yeah Im also looking forward to the clones turning on the jedi, Sidious/Palpatine maybe fighting yoda, Mace's final battle, the Obi Wan Anakin duel, and Darth Vader on a bridge of a star destroyer. :fuzsmile:

Here's a Q I have about Star Wars though...In EP4, threepio doesn't remember Obi-Wan, but in these recent episodes they met. In EP3 do artoo and threepio get their memories erased? It mentions that it is possible to get droid memories erased in EP4.

Hmmm, I want to see how George explains that.

George said he is going to explan this. He also mention that issue is very minor. I believe we already saw how C3PO lost his memory. I could have been in Episode 2.

My theory is when he got his head switched with the battle droid some how that caused sort of a memory file los. I say this because when his head was put back on by Artoo, 3PO said that he had this paculure dream. Could that mean that his memory was lost on Geonosis? Hmm its only my theory. But then again 3PO and Artoo were with Anakin and Padme when they were getting merried in the end so that theory might not work. So I am left to one more quite possible theory.

When Anakin becomes Darth Vader and hunts down and destroys the Jedi knights, Ben obvieously goes into hideing with Yoda on Degahbah along with the twins. I say Degahbah the swamp world we saw in "Empire Strikes Back." because Yoda goes and lives the rest of his life there mainly to hide from the Emperor. By now Ben knows that Sidious is Palpatine and he knows about his plans to over throw the Republic and that he is doing this through Anakin and the dark side of the force. By now Anakin and Palpatine are the most dangerous individuals of the galaxy. I believe by Now Padme will be dead and the twins will be born. Padme dies because it mentions this in "Return of the Jedi" when Luke asked liea if she remembered her mother and Liea saying just a little bit before she died means she will die in 3.

So to get to the 3PO question. Ben along with 3PO and Senetar Bail Organa and the twins go to Degahbah to be protected by Yoda. That is why Luke recalls veguly being on Degahbah before as if it was dream in ESB. He simply was brought there at his birth. Anyway at this time they know Anakin was crazy and dangerious. They know by now he has turned to dark side so they need to hide his children. Luke goes off with Ben to be adopted by Owen and Beru and then Liea, 3PO and Artoo is taken to Alderan to be adopted by Bail Organa that senater you saw in ATOC with with the funny coller. He is Liea adopted father. But Liea is accompanied with 3PO and when they arrive on Alderan Organa simply erases 3PO's memory so that she may never be found by the Empire. They erase 3PO's memory because he just would blurt things out. Artoo on the other hand wasn't tampered with because of his mission in EP4.

So 3PO's memory is erased by Bail Organa to protect Liea from the Emperor. To hide her in secracy that one day she will rise to become the leader of the Rebellion aganst the Empire. The memory being erased is for security for Liea Organa. In the end after Ben and Organa hide the twins Obi wan finds Anakin and thus their dual begins and Anakin becomes Darth Vader. When Anakin is crushed and burned I believe a little bit of his memory of his homeworld is lost in that twisted metal and wires.

Im pretty sure Bail Organna will order the droids memory erased, so that Leia does not find out about her father, or her brother etc, so there is not risk of Palpatine or Vader finding the twins.

The same ship that was in Episode 4 at the beginning (the blockade runner) is in Episode 3, so I think we will see Threepio, and R2 ending up on there before the movie fades to black.
