E3

I found this on Oddblog:
:

The registrations for the exibitors at the Electronic Entertainment Expo are finnally open! Some intresting things to notice is that:
(1) Microsoft has allready 3 booths! (Oddworld Inhabitants don't have their own booth, they are part from a Microsoft booth)
(2) Lorne Lanning is a speaker at the conference.

Good find Xavier! What with the 3D festival and the Game Developer's conference, it looks like Lorne and OWI are going to be getting a great deal of press attention in the coming months. This can only be a good thing, for us and OWI!

Yay!Nice find,Xavier!Thanks for sharing!(I wouldn't be able to find that myself.....I guess.)

As expected of course.

I do hope they'll have a little Oddworld section inside of the MicroSoft Booths.

I gotta get to L.A.! I live in Cali, so it shouldn't be that hard. Now all I need is a car, and some money. Hmmmmm. :fuzconf:

And Don't you need to work for a games related company (reviewing, manufacturing, or what have you) to get a pass?

Xavier 01-17-2004 12:27 AM

that's also true, Hobo...
From the E³ FAQ:

:

Is the show open to the public?
No, E3 is not open to the public. E3 is a trade event and only professionals from the industry will be allowed to attend. Individuals who are not able to document their direct, professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry are not qualified to attend E3. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) upon request.

I would like to bring my child to the show. Is there an age restriction?
E3 is open to trade only. No one under the age of 18 (including infants) will be admitted. THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) upon request verify age.

Oh, well...*leaves the room screaming*

Ah... I'd love to go this year ... it could be a great E3 [Oddworld, FFXII, KH2, possibly even Advent Children]. But I don't think I'm quite ready to return to the US yet, plus the budget is a bit tighter now I only work part time.

One day I'll get to go ... it's just it's been like forever. The last 2 years I could have gone, but things didn't work in my favor.

OddBlog is something nice that will be coming soon. But not quite yet.

Also check my signature. It's just a short matter of time before I can show you it - just a small hosting issue to iron out.
