something interesting but not overly important

i just noticed something. on the pic of munch swimming with the lighting bolt in his head in the ocean with the raisin in the backround the things that are twriled around munch are baby gabbits.

Shrykullmaster 01-13-2002 01:14 AM

i think someone already pointed that out. and thats a vykeer, u can tell

Disgruntled Intern 01-13-2002 02:28 AM

i don't think it's a vykker.
they have yellow eyes with green surrounding the pupil, plus those eyes looked a bit too kind for Vykkers, someone please post a pic just the same.
and yes it has been established that those are in fact Gabiwogs(sp?)

abe22 01-13-2002 04:28 AM

I think the face behind much look like the eyes of an intern.

Lampion 01-13-2002 05:36 AM

I remember when we discussed that picture before, and the real Alf from OWI, told us that the creature in the background was a Vykker.

abe22 01-13-2002 05:59 AM

No way them eyes look to nice for a vykkers and vykkers are ugly.

Xavier 01-13-2002 07:05 AM

here you can compare the eyes
they are definetly of a vykker

abe22 01-13-2002 07:27 AM

Just because the eye colours the same doesn't mean it is a vykker.

It's not the same face

http://www.oddworld.au.com/paramonia...es/munch01.jpg

so not an intern

Disgruntled Intern 01-13-2002 01:37 PM

but the eyes behind munch are a completely different color than a vykkers, they're bigger and not even nearly as beady as a vykkers....i will believe it's a vykker when i read some one from the OWI staff confirming it. hmpf.
and besides, when you look at te eyes behind munch, they look more internish than vykker-ish.
vykkers don't have white in their eyes!
nor do they have golden brown in their eyes either!
i'm not saying it's an intern, but itr sure doesn't look like any vykker i've seen before..

Plus, Vykkers don't have fur. The 'thing' in the background has fur.

Mudokooon101...

Mojo 01-13-2002 01:54 PM

Maybe it's the raisin???

Disgruntled Intern 01-13-2002 04:09 PM

Alpha Scrab, the raisin has four eyes, all of which glow orange, so nope, not the raisin.
you know how in final fantasy they believe each planet has it's own spirit?
perhaps that is THE oddworld, or rather just some higher form of life..but not THE 'god'.
...
i really need to try to make more sense when i type a response..

Tree 01-13-2002 04:41 PM

I always thought that it was a queen of some sort in the background, but I never knew that it was a Vykker. Sorry for not introducing myself, my name is Theresa But you can call me Tree. I just got on, but I have been reading the forms lately. :D

Xavier 01-13-2002 04:43 PM

It's a vykker, the eyes color are the same...
They are yust big but it isn't the real size, of cource, on this pic the gluks are gigantic too

Tree 01-13-2002 04:47 PM

come to think of it, it is the same color, it's just the light of the lightning looking like it is white.

Disgruntled Intern 01-13-2002 06:27 PM

say what you want, but when your going so far as to blame the light on the whiteness of the eyes, your not doing a very good job of convincing any one but yourselves...
just wait, perhaps that was just concept art, we'll see, we'll see...
if it turns out to be a Vykker, i will uh, make a public apology or something.

•[cyrus]• 01-13-2002 07:20 PM

HEY, it doesn't have to be anything.
Maybe it can be and Elder-Gabbit or his/her soul (dead) whatching opon Munch. That could be it.

Disgruntled Intern 01-13-2002 08:11 PM

M101, since you and i have both been making arguements regarding the eyes....well, those eyes look nothing like gabbit eyes.

sodd 01-13-2002 09:41 PM

It's obviously a vyyker..

It doesn't have fur..
IF you concentrate on the flesh that sags beneath its eyes, it looks a bit like fur however...

I mean, Vyykers play a huge role in Munch's.. Without them, the gabbit population would be fine and Munch wouldn't be in that whole mess...
The eyes do look kind, but anyone can change their expression.. PLus, this is a very early pic.. Maybe Vyykers were yet to be perfected..

abe22 01-13-2002 11:42 PM

Well it must be a native vykker (is there such a thing) because them eyes look too kind to be a industrial vykker.

Teal 01-14-2002 08:08 AM

*sighs and repeats what Lampy said*

It is a Vykker, the real Alf from OWI told us so.
