great idea for squeek
since abe can posses living htings and munch can posses mechanical things then it makes sense that squeek will be able to posses spirits. for instance suqeek could posses a sligs soul make the spirit do stuff and then kill the spirit. the slig will be unable to do anything because he has no spirit. he will just stand there. also to rescue things squeek to some sort of chant and a ring would radiate form his body and as the ring touches the people that he is trying to rescue they will turn in to a flock of birds
(like muds used to do when they died in ae and ao) the birds would then fly to freedom. so what do u think. |

the spirit interaction thing sounds kinda cool. perhaps squeek is searching for the spirits of his own kind.

Abe's ability to posses is way more useful than Munch's ability to use cranes\snoozy things... Because possesion is so helpful, I can't think of anything BETTER than it. But you could use squeek to capture spirits and get them to haunt people or! OR you could posses a spirit, and swap it with another guy's spirit... Say there was a Mudo in a prison.. You could take the Mudo's spirit and put it in the body of a greedy gluk... Take the greedy Gluk's spirit and put it in the imprisoned Mudo's body.. Ooooo lala! And if you wanted to resserect someone to help you, you could contact them in the dead world and guide them back to their body.,, :') |

spirits, huh? that would make sense, elaborating on the whole spirit releasing thing from AE. great idea Lantra. I don't think thayt each character should get another possession feature, assuming that a new character be introduced in each chapter of the quintology. Right now, the story basically is the mudokons uprising against the Glukkons and Vykkers, so future chapters need to spread the revolution, but that strays from the topic here.

Isn't possesing the transfering of a spirit into a body? How can a spirit posses anuther spirit? And wouldn't that just be the same as Abe because the spirit would then control its body?...

I think those are all good ideas, but what would be the point of takin a sligs spirit and makin it just stand there? I think squeek should be able to make sligs goin on a killin rampage while you run around , ya know with the sligs bein distracted. Also, someone has to know a web site with a pic or discription of Squeek.

actually, makin the sligs go on killin sprees wud make it harder, just imagine, lets say theres 2 slig & a mudoken slave (or watever) u make 1 slig go on a killin rampage, and hed kill everything in sight, including the mudokn! it wudd help if ur going for the bad ending though

Awesome idea Squeek could be like a devour of sauls. He needs to devour sauls to survive. In this case industrialists like sligs, glukkens, Vykkers etc. But he rescues the sauls of Oddworlds natural spiecies. I could see Sligs becomeing brain dead. sweet idea

But I don't think Squeek is a good name for a Meech. I prefer Nod for a Meech. Squeek is more of a baby's name... Whatever. |

I really do hate to break the chain of awe, but I really doubt Squeek will possess spirits. I mean, it's a cool idea, but not very likely.
To make any logical judgement, you'd have to know something about Squeek - his appearance/personality, his goal, his species - something like that. Abe, for example, is all about liberation from slavery and an end to consumerism, particularly animal consumerism and slavery. That's why he possesses animals. Munch, however, is all about ending creature cruelty. Well, one gift's already taken. What else is there in his story? High tech medical and scientific machinery, giant flying vehicles etc...and with a mechanical implant in his noggin, it's not hard to make a decision. Alas, all we know about Squeek's Oddysee is that it revolves around symbiotic creatures... |
Since Squeek is the first character Lorne imagined, i don't think it could be a Meech spirit. It wouldn't make any sence...
I believe Squeek will be a simple and well done character. But we won't know him before a while. Not before the end of Munch's Exoddus (I'm sure we'll get a preview od Squeek if we get the perfect ending) |
