uummm... The slig might have heard Abe running? Maybe Abe said hello and there was a mudokon behind the cart thingy!
( because if you say hello and a slig hears it he will probly shoot the mudokon in the room, if there is one) |
1. There are no muds on that screen, or near it (I've played AE and remember most of it)
2. That screenshot is from AE. Abe can't talk to mudokons in the foreground if he is in the backround in AE. It's just a game glitch. - DH |

Logical explanation is that it's not possible. If you look at the source of the image it's from Oddworld.com, not just a screenshot that Oddbodd took himself. Well because it is from Oddworld.com, it is possible that they created this screenshot. Any game company can do testing and make games do anything that they want them to do, simply because they created the games and have access to all of the source code, etc. So in my view I think this image is from some kind of bug testing or the like of Abe's Exoddus. Either that, or OWI took the shot using a test version of the game. Abe Babe... |

OK, ill just ignore the spam and give me two cents. Maybe Abe rode the mine car to the barrier and the slig saw him there and shot, even though the barrier prevented the bullets from hitting Abe, follow?
Abe realized that he had to go back and pull the lever to lower the barrier. Well, when he got back into the background, the slig was in the process of shooting from before. (it isnt really a glitch, just a delayed reaction, well ok, maybe it is a glitch, but not a very big one) Or, the trigger could be stuck, ever stop to think of that? |

Look carefully at the picture, I don't think the Slig is firing his weapon at all. That is how Sligs hold their guns. I can't see any bullet casings, sparks or other indication that he is shooting.
I might be wrong though. |
UNLESS THE SLIG IS DOING THE MOONWALK I DON'T BELIEVE HIM, THE SLIG IS IN THE SHOOTING STANCE. HIS GUN IS UP AND LITTLE BIT OF FIRE IS STIKING OUT.
