Munch oddysee for pc..
 

I would like to ask one question:
Is the data on a dvd-rom of an xbox compatible with pc?
The answer i would like is if you can insert munch's oddysee into a dvd-rom drive and play it(i'm still here in Europe waiting for it so i will not have a chance until a couple of months).
Also, if you have the game could you tell me how much space it takes of a dvd-rom?

It would be relased the 14 march, the same time as the Xbox

I just asked this question because i thought an xbox cd (8 gb dvd) may have data stored just like on every other cdr format (i had this thought in mind because xbox is been made by microsoft).

Microsoft said that the Xbox is not a PC

And why on earth would they say that Xavier?
To trick people into buying BOTH platforms!!!

XBOX emulators are ALREADY present on the internet.. All you need is a very speedy computer and a very high quality DVD-rom...
And supposidly... Any XBOX game is yours to play!

However... Emulation is very flawed for N64, PS1, PS2... I doubt they have perfected Xbox emulation yet.. BUt it's definitly coming..

I found an xbox emulator that runs 8 games but i don't know if it runs oddworld MO.
And...the system requirements WILL kill you!!!

I also found another xbox emulator.
But it seems that it only runs HALO.

Sorry guys for me carrying on posting sites for xbox emus..
But i keep searching and searching and i keep finding and finding.
By the way...I finally found an emu that runs MUNCH (but it runs under windows 3.1)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep hoing keep going! by the time munch is out in europe theyl probably have made a good emulator (one withoutbugs). And the system reqiuerments fit my compu. JEY!! :D

There are no other emus have been made for xbox now...
But i found this info on the oddworld homepage:

Q: Will there be a PC version?

A: At the moment we are focusing on

And also on a web page i found the following:

It's an elaborate JOKE!

Nobody fall for it.. it's most likely a virus of some sort...

I found info about the emu by Linar Software/Studios, i found out that munch does work on it and this emu is no way a virus or fake!
The company told me that they tested it and it works at 70%!!!
The problem now would be the system requirements.
But the company told me that it runs all games but most would work at about 50% or don't work.
What you should do is getting this emu to work and then whait for the next release.
If all the future oddworld games are for xbox then they would probably all be working on pc.

I never hear about the cancel of a PC version...
It would maybe be easy to adapt on PC but there isn't a version yet

And if you look at the release date it says:
Cancelled -- Xbox exclusive
But also in the demo page on oddworld.com there was munch's oddysee with the sign COMMING SOON, but that was before the cancel and now OWI took it off because of the cancel.
We can only hope for that OWI decides to make again a pc version.
