perfect, very warm and always does it for me.




so, where do you think the perfect place for a thermometer to be placed is? this is a very serious matter as when your sick your body changes in temp all over. I think the normal place is best, it always has the right temp.

I have one where it goes in your ear, you press the button, and kablam! it tells you your temperature.

when i first saw this thread i thought it had to do with sex :lol:

um....i prefer oral, those ear ones freak me out, i have a phobia of things going near my ear ever since a baber cut a chunk of it out with scissors:eek:

what i meant by normal was what place do you use most often. There are alot of places so i just called it "normal".

I usually put the thermometer under my tongue for a few minutes. At the doctor's office they usually use one of those newer types and put it in your ear. But they arent usually as perfectly accurate.

I thought this thread was going to be on an entirely different subject for the obvious reasons. Anyway, I like the kind that go in your ear because it's so fast. I hate having to wait really long with a thermometer under my tongue.

Umm... we don't do that thermometer crap here. We use them to tell the temperature of the room.

But i've never had my temperature taken.

Well whenever I get sick, I don't do anything about it and let my body do what it wants to do. I don't bother taking any tests or any medication for anything. Except for my epilepsy (But only because it stops me from driving).

I take medication when sick but I have never had a thermometer put somewhere in me. I don't see how you can't tell if you're sick or not.

Don't they teach you stuff in New Zealand? ;)

You know that a human has an average of 37 degrees celcius internal body temperature. Well, fevers (etc) have been linked to increases in internal body temperature. So obviously :p

Oh, now I understand your thinking! Though, parents don't always believe you, so a thermometer comes in handy (for them...).
